My sister is my favourite person in the world, but the one thing I had against her is that she didn't listen to me recommending The Mighty Boosh to her for about 10 years. Now she is constantly messaging me quotes from this show 😂

To answer your question, Naboo (shaman/store person) was talking about Vince borrowing his Kangaroo videos and not bringing them back when he said "that's a fine, 5 euros". The fine's for not returning the kangaroo videos. Don't forget this is from 2003, when video/dvd store rental was still a thing.

Yes mate! This was a show I loved on my early teens, cringed at in my late teens then loved again when all that angst was washed off of me. It's such a good show, and like any good show can have an insufferable audience. It's definitely a classic
It's also a show that gets a lot tighter/more organised as it finds its feet, pretty much like Peep Show.

I was less keen on the first series of the Boosh than the others, so you may find you have to bear with it for a bit. That later stuff gets seriously strange, but very funny too and surprisingly watchable. I always thought it was quite original and experimental for a comedy show, and very imaginitive and visual. Quite silly, too. But I like that kind of thing. So do lots of others apparently - the stage shows were very popular.
I have seen alot of people say the first season isn't as good. It seems like a show you have to get used to because it is a very jarring show.
Even the first season gets better as you go, if I remember right. Season 2 is the peak, and season 3 has a couple weak episodes, but is still good fun, maybe almost as good as 2… up for debate.
I'm sure your gonna laugh out loud at this show its hilarious, all the characters great. Three cheers to you thanks again

The mighty boosh is satisfyingly different
It takes a bit to get into it but it is genuine gold
it gets better after series 1 for me.
Im the opposite; it gets better after episode one, but goes downhill after series 1.

Season 2 was so so for me … season 1 really was great tho. And season 3 just brought it all together and really was great telly. But the best is the radio show!!

First time I caught The Mighty Boosh, I thought it was the worst show I've ever seen.
Second time, it annoyed me that something so bad had been commissioned.
Third time, I thought it was the best thing I've ever seen.
It's a bit like League of Gentlemen in that respect, once you get it, it's genius.
LOL it is a very jarring show the first time you watch it.

I have to be honest and say I never got what was supposed to be funny about this show but then life would be shit if we all liked the same thing 👍
Series 1's way better than series 2 in my opinion. Series 3 was very good although too many special effects for my taste. The back and forth banter between Vince/Howard is when it's best.

Lost it in S3, largely, but S1 and S2 were good. Doesn't get talked about that much anymore, maybe? The show always seemed to vary, for me, between genuinely amusing, and "trying way too hard". But worth a look. I couldn't hear you through most of this one, btw, Josh, don't know if it was my headphones?
Wow... I never remembered The Mighty Boosh actually started out as weak and crap as this... I remember it being hilarious craziness... Stick with it - I'm sure S2 gets to "where it's at!"

I never really liked Mighty Boosh. I always felt it was a very deliberate attempt to be weird for weird’s sake whilst masquerading as surrealism. It tries to hard to be surrealist for it to be truly surreal.
Series 1 was great, the rest of the series did nothing for me unfortunately.
I loved this a few years ago, but now it seems terrible on here. Weird.
Season 2 is even weirder/better. Then you can graduate to 'Noel Fieldings: Luxury Comedy', which 10x weirder.
