Walking around Sagano in Kyoto : Adashino Nenbutsu-ji & Otagi Nenbutsu-ji | Japan Walk 4K

This walk will bring you to Sagano & Arashiyama alleys while passing through the Adashino Nenbutsu-ji temple and the Otagi Nenbutsu-ji temple.
If you look for a peaceful strolling in Kyoto during your stay, Sagano or Arashiyama is the district you need to visit.
Located in western Kyoto, most of the travelers visit the bamboo forest but don't go futher in the area.
On this walk we will pass on the Adashino Nenbutsu-ji, a touching temple at the top of the Arashiyama sightseeing district, were you’ll find 8000 Buddhist statues in memory of those who died without kin.
But also on the Otagi Nenbutsu-ji, a temple on the outskirts of Arashiyama with a collection of 1200 unique and whimsical statues.
Those temple a rarely visited and interesting places that rewards the adventurous visitor.

Lovely Video. Is 3 hours enough to explore this area from Torokko Arashiyama Station, and then to walk back to Saga Arashiyama?
