BRAVISSIMA! I agree, finalmente LA TURANDOT that we never thought we would hear again - beauty of tone throughout the voice, ease of delivery, regal presence and sensitive musicality!
She is great! One of the very few dramatic soprano voices of our days that sound both powerful, properly metallic and dramatic, but at the same time soft, homogeneous, womanlike (not too aged, too early) and, above all, under complete control. Pankratova is without a doubt one of the few dramatic sopranos currently singing I can hear without thinking "How good it'd be if she had learnt how to use that large instrument". She's just marvelous.
@@rafaellmata6083 How many Turandots can you name who were not dramatic sopranos. Starting with Eva Turner there have been only dramatic sopranos singing her onstage successfully.
