It's not kill "herself" (Suicide) but "Kill her self" (Which means disposing herself of any traits that made her "Hikari.") This isn't going to a boring office job mind you, she literally just wants to withdraw herself in her room and never get out of it. (Like how a brick wall is "normal.")

I’m probably the only person that caught it, but the first cutscene that plays a weird version of Last Surprise, that version was actually used in very VERY early trailers for P5, and was likely the beta version of the song, so I was incredibly surprised to hear it actually being used in this game.
I love how they sing happily while the lyrics is about bad things, if you made someone guess if this song was good or bad without them seeing the subtitles, HOO BOY.
When Hikari said "Thats why I will discard myself" in the HIKARI trailer i thought she commited suicide in the real world and that after the game ended she would return to life somehow
So... I assume they get their memories wiped somehow because they all were like.. in middle of their respective paths in their games XD it'd be weird to just go back and never bring up "hey guys remember that one time we met other persona users from different times/worlds?"
I like to imagine that in the happy go lucky world during the plays when everyone is asking Hikari why she did something that they were actually asking her why she murdered those 53 children and they’re telling her to fit in with everyone else and not be a mass murderer while your encouraging her to kill again.
I feel like the P3 crew got the short end of the straw with regards to getting into that world. Like... P5 got to ride in Morgana-car, P4 just sort of fell into it. But poor Minato (or Makoto i guess) had to do three or four flights of stairs to get to a place they didn't want to get into in the first place. Can they just catch a break?

I had a dream that buffmaister was streaming smt 1 and he didn't know which way to go in a dungeon and he was asking the viewers for help but we couldn't understand buff (I think it was because buff wasn't clear in his responses) and then he started speaking but his voice was distorted and yeah, wierd dream.
