- Living for 6 months, in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was absolutely magical. I've never heard about this place before deciding to go here and staying for half a year. Above it all, the place where we were living was located on the Leeward (West) side of the island at the end of the road.. quite ironical :) I have attended a 6 month volunteering project at Richmond Vale Academy in Richmond, this video is mostly about the amazing places and people in the country and not so much about the projects we were involved in with the local communities.
The people, the places, the projects and activities we were involved in and the overall experiences made this by far the best endeavor of my life.. so far! The country welcomed us with open arms and everywhere you went you felt like home. The video is about 15 minutes long, but it covers a lot of locations we visited and a lot of warm people we met throughout the whole half a year so.. don't hate! :)

I went there 3 times in the last 6 months. It is my favorite country in the world, and I’m a flight attendant- I have seen many beautiful places but nothing compares to Vincy. StVincent feels pure, like home and I have met some of the most amazing people in my life. It’s my safe haven.

I will be going home for three weeks in June. I can't wait. I can now afford to do all the things I could not do as a child, and I am sharing this experience with my brothers. I had a great time last year and plan on elevating that fun even more.

December 2017 I meet this georgous Vincy Women at Toronto airport when I was supposed to go reset my mind and get some heat in Barbados. She smiled at me and 2 days later my liat flight was booked from Barbados to SVG. I stayed in Stubbs village and in bequia. Enjoyed nine mornings festival. Everyday we cooked meals with the rastas , eat fresh fruit in the mornings , fishing fresh fish & eating black fish oil in downton Kingston. Visited most Caribbean Island but none as that natural vibe SVG has. Hiking la Souffriere was an experience that connected me deeper with nature.

St Vincent beats out all the other islands , hands down. So relaxing, so beautiful, and so inviting. Once there you will return many times. The food is scrumptious.

@@OctavianGreculetz Yes, we didn’t have the latest clothes or shoes, but with so much to do, we hardly missed those things. Mostly played games after school or work, head to the beach or go to the mountains for food and pick fruit. Always fresh fish to eat, so we were okay.. 🥰🌺

@@OctavianGreculetz Yes, l have. I was around when it erupted in 1979. I remembered waking up to seeing loads of people in trucks going into a huge community hall that was situated next to my home. I thought at first that it was a festival or celebration of some sort because there is always something happening.Then l heard in was La Soufrie’re erupting. I will never forget the billowing smoke in the sky when La Soufrie’re was miles away. Like it was behind the mountains with lighting flashing through. We were very scared 😅 l hope that it will calm down 🙏
@@trealoo33 sry for the late reply :P Waaau, u where there in '79.. I've also talked to some ppl on the island who have been through it back then. I sure hope it calms down.. it would be a very quick eruption considering the timeline of the others.. it's only been 40yrs
