I'm getting more convinced by the day that I should stop learning python for now and go to java script, html and css, considering that I want to be a fullstack developer. These videos help me a lot make a decision. I have been learning python and just days ago started JavaScript just to get my feet in the water. But it seems like I have devote more time and focus to JavaScript for now.

They're very similar you will pick it up pretty quick, only a few syntax changes, JS > TS is more different than python > js.

If you’re looking to become a fullstack developer! JavaScript is most definitely the way to go! It continues to be the leading language within web development!!

I agree it’s hard to get away from JavaScript. Don’t most Python jobs also list JS?

Embracing the change can be life changing you might feel hesitant in the beginning however it can prove to be helpful, just give it a shot.

You've just called conservative developers as bad developers that I totally disagree here. Do you remember how many talks were about cloud technologies. for instance, and what we see now? Yes, cloud technologies are part of modern world but they didn't push away traditional programs so every developer is necessary. The same thing will be with AI as well, I believe. Therefore, I think conservative developers definitely not bad developers, they're just probably experienced enough to not jump into new techs without doubts and prefer to wait a bit. Don't label developers please. We're just the same people as everyone with own fear, doubts and yes, we're becoming old and less flexible as like as other people in other professions.

cuz typescript is not the replacement for javascript (for now). it just makes javascript better. it's more of a tool, not a programming language itself.

    • @gragfrenade7438

Typescript is a superset of JavaScript, all typescript code compiles down to JavaScript. You need to know the differences.
