Wow this turned out very well!! How do you get the guitar so smooth looking considering the acrylic paint leaving slight raised grooves from the paint brush??
Chucks Stuff when you spray the base coat and it's and it's dry, you can sand it a little bit antil the surface will be smooth.. You can sand it with 800 grit..
Thank you my friend, first time I had a lot of layers.. I sanded it and in the second time I put the brush in water, than I put a really thin layer of acrylic paint.. Than the clear coat should be covering it.
Looking to do something similar, How do you deal with the holes? do you just paint right over them? and how do you know where the screw holes are afterwards?

Criseida Becerra hello my friend, I'm actually used here with 800, 1000 grit, if you have 1500, 2000 it's better.. About the clear coat I used here with rust oleum 2x, but the drying took forever.. But after all that OK. Good luck and thank you😀
Hello my friend, I used acrylic based water .. You can find at the earlier comments here the correct paint that I used.. The clear coat is rust oleum 2x.. Try to paint thin layer of paint, you can use water for it, it's help. Good luck 🙏

You can watch in my last video super strat headless guitar, Im used there with nitro spray and it's awesome.. Good luck 😊

idan haviv נכון, לאחר הצביעה באקריל צריך לשים לב שאתה מורח שכבות דקות כדי שלא יהיה יותר מידי מחוספס בגלל המכחול.. אחרי שהלכה תתייבש צריך לעשות פוליש רטוב עם נייר שיוף של מים, בכדי להחליק את הלכה ככול שאפשר, תתחיל עם נייר בעובי 600, 1000, 1500, 2000 מהנמוך לגבוה עם סבון ומים, לאחר מכן תעשה פוליש עם חומר של פוליש של רכבים, אני קניתי אותו באוטו דיפו, מעבר לזה חשוב להתנסות.. אם לא הלך טוב אז לשייף שוב ולהתחיל הכל מהתחלה.. חשוב לעשות את זה באיזי.. שיהיה המון בהצלחה

You actually can see the holes after the painting.. you just drill directly through them.

hey sarah, there is way to polish it only with hand ..about the wet sanding you can search on youtube and see alot of guide about it .. good luck :)

How did you get rid of those brush lines on the surface? Will those disappear with more coats of clear?
I'm actually was sand it and painted again but with really thick of layer. Then its look smooth.
