Actually this conversation would have been much easier if each spoke his/her South Slavic language. I once spoke to a Croat in Bulgarian and the waitress joined us and spoke in Macedonian and there was literally no effort to do you understand one another.
Be prepared if you visit some parts of Macedonia like Debar or Tetovo as almost nobody speaks Macedonian there, you will have to learn a non-slavic language spoken there =)

Here is comparision with Bulgarian (mostly the spelling is different and the stress and of course it claim it as being so different from Bulgarian lol)
    Bulgarian - Macedonian
сборУвам - збОрувам (we use ''говОря'' more and they have also ''гОворам'')
сАкам - сАкам (however we use more Искам, while they don't have this word)
    наУча - нАучам
затовА що - зАтоа што (Nowadays we simplify it to ''защОто'')
    мнОго интересен - мнОгу интересен
езИк - jАзик (However we have ''Язик'' too but it's old form that we don't use)
    защО - зОшто
    мИсля - мИслам
дЕка - дЕка (We use more ''че'' while they don't have it)
аз - jас (Bulgarian has ''язе'' and ''яз'' like Macedonian as well in some dialects)
езИци - jАзици (We have it too but it's old form as I said)
славЯнски - слОвенски (They also have слАвjански)
    сегА - сЕга
далИ си бил? - дАли си бил? (We can use also short form of ''бил ли си?'' but that with ''дали'' of frequent usage is influence from Serbian.)
в/во/във - во/в (However ''во'' is rather poetic and we don't use it while they have ''в'' as well)
    хОдя/отИда - Одам
    Имам - Имам
    приЯтелка - приjАтелка
    от - од
    знАм/знАя - знАм
    той/тя - тоj/таа
    живЕе - жИвее
    живЕя - жИвеам
    къдЕ - кАде
    на Юга - на jугОт
    разбИрам - рАзбирам
    бЪлгарски - бУгарски
    падЕжи - пАдежи
And pretty much like that. I'm lazy to do the rest.

Some dialects in North Monkeydonia have ''сички'' instead of ''сите'' so you have it.
Also why did you compare slang words?
You didn't even wrote them correctly.
We have no word ''круст'' it's written ''кръст'' and it's pronounced the same as ''крст'' Also ''гъзар'' comes from the same word that you say for ''газ'' (except you swapped it by writting it ''гас'')
First, you can't even write properly and second you have no clue about history, so educate yourself!

Just adding/correcting some of it. I think the Macedonian you used was the more generalized dialect. Spoken Macedonian is a little different to written Macedonian. Example:
For Zboruvam, we usually just say Zboram. Zboruvam is a very formal way of saying it. Govori or govoram for us means respond or reply, instead of just speaking.
Naucham becomes just Ucham, Nauka and Naucha means Science. Rarely do we say Naucham.
We don't say Zatoa shto, it's just Zatoa, then what we were talking about. No shto.
Mnogu Interesen is for people, mnogu interesno is the general way of saying it.
We usually say Zashto instead of Zoshto, but it's 50/50. Like Plava and Sina, depending on the person.
For Deka it's usually just Oti. Oti can also mean why. Depending on the tone, it has different meanings.
Sega can also be Odma. In fact it's usually odma.
From my part of Macedonia, Priatel has no gendered variants, so Priatelka doesn't exist. But it's still there sometimes. Drugar and Drugarka however, retain their gendered variants.
It's also my first time ever seeing Nadezhi as a word, for some reason my region of the country straight up doesn't have this word.

They are members of an Orthodox Church whose authority was established by a socialist political regime in 1968.They are heirs to a 1903 revolution that until the 1940s was described by almost all sources as being Bulgarian."

You all should've stayed 1 country. You slavs speak the same language with different dialects. Separated by religion. Half of you slavs followed orthodoxy and the other half Catholic. They have nothing to do with Macedonian culture and history, which always had a Hellenic orientation, pelasyian in its oldest roots. Absolutely no conection with the slavic culture and history. You settled on the northern part of Macedonian territory and assimilated any people living there to your beautiful Bulgarian, Slavic-Bulgarian culture.
