You never got to what was the best dive in French Polynesia? The Tuamotus consist of many atolls…
Probably fakarava south. For sharks the best. Dolphins rangiroa
Some shots were from Fakarava south and a couple from Fakarava north pass (probably others as well) 🙂

Places like the Bahamas tend to be more expensive, and the diving is not as good
if you camp and live like a local, Polynesia is not as expensive as people think. Big hotels are expensive, imported food (by plane usually) is very expensive. local vegetables and fish are cheap.

Everyone is meant. but only because
you have the only boat or the permit or there are people who can pay any price you don't have to be impertinent. I ask you 14 days in a bunk bed for 8000 dollars?! That's way too much in my opinion.
