I have been working with special-needs for 6 1/2 years now I'm a sophomore in high school and already know what I wanna be when I grow up. He is adorable. I feel like God is preparing me for the future weather I wind up adopting a special needs child or having a special needs child.
Karina kudos for you for wanting to work with special-needs kids. I worked at a place called Valley View it was for special needs kids grownups something? I work there for a year I was 17 and yeah it was pretty bad. I hope that in your life you are blessed with a very healthy beautiful bouncing baby boy or girl so you can experience that. That is more common then having a special needs baby is. I know people are going to make faces about this or have comments but I'm just going to say it anyway. When these children become adults in size not mentally cuz we know there special needs also but when they become adults in size they are very hard to deal with. I totally get why families put these Special Needs adults / kids in Assisted Living care. It takes more than one person to help lift an adult changed in the bedroom the whole nine yards. God bless this is just my opinion and I am allowed my opinion with my life experiences.

Hey john, please help her more. She shouldn’t be taking care of the baby all day and also cooking and taking care of you.
When we filmed this video John had a full time job and I was a stay at home mom, we felt like what worked best for our family was for me to do housework and take care of Leon as my job since John went out and worked for his job. That being said regardless of this John is AMAZING and any time I ask for help he helps, and now that he is out of work at the moment we do everything about 50/50.
