I am not sure why, but this video really made me chuckle! Maybe it is because I also raised five daughters and two sons. (I can relate!) This is the season of your life you are in now, and I love that you embrace it, and face it, and choose to be happy in the moment, dirty diapers and all! God Bless you all, dear GradFam!

A lot lol. We used cloth (most of the time) so much cheaper and better for the environment. Where I live poop is supposed to be disposed of in the toilet with either disposable or cloth nappies/diapers. You could do a load at the end of the day and have enough for a nice full load and save sooo much $ but I know it’s more work with five in diapers. My 2 1/2 year has been toilet trained day and.night for a few months now. I think cloth help with toilet training too because they can feel when they’re wet. I would just put my toddler on the toilet after eating to help her get the hang of it.
She also had potties around the house, summer time was easier to potty train too. But you guys have done this before and know what to do, all the best :)

I found doing mine near 3 years old even know my mum would always stick it in my face you was out of them by 2 …. I didn’t care what anyone said it took me two weeks when they was 3 and when they was 2 and half they just kept peeing that makes life harder the washing the changing then you have to wash there bodies down I wouldn’t stress do it when your ready … it’s hard potty training and people put time limits on it and I just don’t pressure other mums just stay sane is the main point and your husband is at work all the time I would be driven crazy and I have 6 kids there not as close together there 18months closest apart and my last two at 3 years and 5 years you can’t kinda tell I was done as you two are so calm and I’m a stress head so more kids would of done me over 😂well done to both of you for staying so strong together and I would say you change more than 19 as two of the triplets didn’t do a number 2 which you did say it’s more like 27 …. The worst days are when they ain’t finished and you change them and then they finish and you have to change them again ❤️

That’s around the age I toilet train too (I worked in childcare for years). My son took longer than my daughter as he had medical issues. The triplets were premature so might take them a bit longer than the average child. I’ve noticed it seems to take children longer who are in disposable nappies too.

    • @oceanbreeze17
      @oceanbreeze17 2 года назад

It depends totally on the child. My daughter was quite easily trained at 2. It took only about 1-2 weeks. My son wore diapers at night until he was 8. Some people can never get out of them.

A few of the other multiples on RUclips said they start with the ones that seem most interested in trying it and that seem ready to try it and usually if one does it, then the rest will get excited about it and want to do it too. A couple of families used the candy treat way, but they actually have to go pee or poop to get a treat, not just a little tinkle. So don’t reward if they don’t go enough to matter. You don’t want to be running to the bathroom every time you turn around.

It's funny to look at someone else's life like this. I have 13 kids and having babies seems as natural as breathing. But I know the majority of the world either thinks I am crazy, and I occasionally try to see myself through the eyes of other people. I watch you and think that there's no way I could have handled that. I never had any multiples and my smallest gap was 17 months, and there's a larger age gap between my oldest and youngest than there is between my oldest and myself. When people ask how I do it, I always respond that they came one at a time. So anyway, I love to watch you and your routine and hope that my older kids can meet someone and have families like yours. We are the ones who hold the future in our hands, because we are the ones having the babies.

working in a toddler daycare class
diapers had to be checked and recorded every hour and those who were learning transitioning were praised for dry pull up and encouraged to try on the potty.and those who were able to go recognized on own and asked we just reminded them every 2 hours..."do you need to go potty?" bc there was a likeliness of getting busy in playing and possubility of "accident"
and usually it was in goals to be trained to move up to preschool class. This video just gave me memories of wayback lol
we had glass ABC stickys on a wall mirror up above the changing table. We sang it every now and then while changing given..time and circumstance..(usually a number of kids looked forward to that)...
we had also a folding out set of wooden whide stairs attached up the changing table and that way once a kid is able to climb(and they mostly loved that) we would spot or offer a hand while they enjoyed climbing/crawling their way up. With that we didnt have to pick them all up each time...🙂
i just thought you and oni must be building some muscle :)
the mirror also helped up be aware and keep an eye on other kids at play in the classroom.
meanwhile we tried to walk with a flowing schedule of same outdoor play time in the day nap time lunch time breakfast..ect..
usually we had morning circle time where we sang songs of the weather and other songs of kids choice with motions then followed by a short picture book read outloud. Some kniwn by memory when "reading outloud" and they all sat on the carpet some with big eyes and an open mouth 😅 And then some streatches...
usually routine and options kept them like little busy bees unless
having about 3-5 activity stations out per day and they freely chose which one to be at and busy in play.
this was like having an area of blocks out...then in another corner lincolntrain where they took and put them apart together...kitchen area comeing and cooking with them.. and asking questions like" fruit veggie yum id like that for lunch... " they would" put together a lunch for us " pretend eat..
-bookself set out on another corner
they sat in and flipped through books who ever wanted to when bored at another station..
sensory bin filled with with either water or oobleck withwater cornstarch and drop of food coloring)
or bunch of tissue paper in the bin and they liked ripping it apart(this was also good in curriculum for their growth of fine momtor skills, finger muscles exercise... :)
rotated something new in there to keep per day (sometimes 2 rotations depending how much they liked it or worked well with it (kept busy).
cleanup time and song"clean up clean up.." before lunch.. wash of hands..
set out a wooden puzzle pieces at a clean table or playdough at a table while lunch clean up
they were remided of keeping it at the table.. and usually were good untill got bored and messed around then we put away...
ive noticed putting away and putting out same toys yet transistionally. rotating their options kept them playing with them almost like they were new.
    other ideas like
shimery food colored water filledempty waterbottles closed they liked to wobble those around. or filled with other things like something to make noise inside the bottle and they shaked it. or a yellow pompom in water in another waterbottle of a "sunny day"
or water bottle filled with blue food coloring drop, water and a few white cotton balls (cloudy weather)
    singing "whats the weather.."
    craft
of paper washable paint at a table
empty toilet paper rolls taped into a heart shape each or petal..for a flower painting prints project for mothers day/spring
    chalk
    bikes
    sandbox
    playground slide
on usual outdoor time routine(usually before nap time and final diaper change routine before nap)
the stations out throughout the day and routine really kept them busy and playing at most times.
the rotation of toys seemed to have kept them interested in them.
usually there was a 2 to 10 ratio per todler class sometimes it felt like diapers is all we did lol and get dresses and undressed from outdoor play in winter taking the afternoon up lol(not litterally)
but statrions out throughout the day did help and following a schedule routine did help with transitions..
Watching you both as a team and your growing children is a joy!
Keep it up, dont grow weary!
You flooded me with the day care job as a teachers assistant with your diaper tracking lol
wish i could send yall a gift package

    That’s a whole lot of Fanny wiping ! 😳😮🤣
Butt- ( pardon the pun ) - they will all eventually be potty trained… and then you will be calculating the amount of toilet paper 🧻 used !!!
God Bless your beautiful vibrant family ! 😘😘❤️🙏

As I have seen, they were born a year apart. The triple twin girls are 2 years old if I know right. One of their little brothers is 1 year old if I know it. While their other little brother is six months old if I know it. One older child can be 3 years old and the other older child can be 4 years old.
I also admire the patience of the parents and the patience of the twin little girls to wait until their two little sisters are beyond diapering. And then the triple twins get clean diapers too.
Between the ages of 4-6, I got a seasonal textile diaper for the night. Because my bladder was still weak and for the sake of my Autism I was slower to get to bed cleanliness. I did not object to my diapering. I slept through the diaper all night.

I potty trained 4 boys at one time. They were 2 and 1/2 years old. Their birthday s were in the winter. My office was in the bathroom.

I guessed 20 on Instagram! I had three in diapers for 8 months so I had a pretty good idea of what you have to deal with a day!

In my day I had to change with cloth diapers. Remember this old timers, wash poopy ones, too.
Not bother me as a Pediatric nurse. Then have to come home and do it!
