I used to watch this video so many times on facebook out of curiosity, now i am surprised to see it here as well. It is funny to me because I’ve been doing scaffolding since 2015 and apart from the fact you’ll *probably* never face a situation where you have to build a hanger like this, this method is highly impractical to a degree, and nobody i have ever worked with has done it this way. By the book, you could do a hanger by using 4 braces, 2 on each side, but all the people i have talked to would not do it that way. When i asked why, they simply said they don’t trust the braces. If you had to do a hanger like this, there are different ways of doing it. Probably one of the best ways of doing it is by doing what i call “a scissor”
The video look easy and perfectly but when you get over the hanger and start to put planks the level will go down bc the diagonal is not enough strong to support, you have to add a 45 with pipe and swivels and also install a second bar on bouth sides to prevent the legs get open.
yeah it will need raker support from either the top or bottom. you can also use tubes and right angles if you have no swivels but it uses a lot of clamps that way
An additional concern with this method is uneven balance from plank to plank on the cantilevered portion could cause twisting forces to be applied to the verticals

When I’m hanging scaffold I always put a pipe with swivel one on each end, one attach to end of the ledger and one attach to the scaffold post can be up or down and then somebody is pushing the ledger and another person sliding the pipe. When I can insert the pin in the rosette I put my level and let the other person to pull down or up the pipe, on that way the cantilever will be on point on the first try, after that I put the second ledger and walk over the leveled ledger so now I can go and put the post on the front, after that everything it’s so easy. But these cantilevers are not so common, almost all the time you have a beam or something where you can put a set up and make it easy.
Hi MegaTaurus777, thanks for your comments. As you see from the animation that all of the work is completed from a full working platform with hand rail edge protection at all times. This eliminated the possibility of falling from height so there is no risk to the worker. I appreciate that tube and fitting has its advantages but you will find that installing cantilevers in this method is not only faster but much safer also. To do this using tube and fittings, it will require the use of harnesses and the risk of falling during the installation is increased.
you're stupid and your demonstration uses a 2.5m PERI ledger, that sucker is fifteen pounds. plus the headers, braces and standards. total weight your arm curling is over 100pounds, while extending on an UNPROTECTED side. you need to retake your apprenticeship and actually pay attention this time.
Как можно удержать такое количество элементов на высоте при не погодных условиях!? Сразу видно теория без практики. Ригель и диагональ присоединяются через старт.элемент . Достаточно двоих (монтажников) рабочих,чтобы свести к стойки с замками. Далее выносят настилы
The only weakness of pinlock is that over time the pins get worn out. It will reach a point that the material will have to be replaced. I’ve seen plenty of tube and fitting builds on youtube, nobody is know of here in the states uses that. But there are weaknesses to that as well.

Assemble 1 kit at a time, brace, base collar, ledger,…. Throw each out indipendantly, thEn connect, thEn fill w platforms or steeldecks

Need to put diagonal from under putting the load point from under rather then pulling it will be pushing if you know you know

Стойки без "стаканов"(стартовый элемент) не ставятся .
