  • From the same week as Annie/Donald, it's another episode of The Hollywood Connection with Jim Lange!
    Allison and David are trying to match the celebrities on their opinions and ideas to win up to $3,000 and a trip to Puerto Vallarta. Who can do it with:
    Robert Reed, Pat Carroll, Nipsey Russell, Jo Ann Pflug, Jack Carter, Jaye P. Morgan.

    "The Hollywood Connection" starred Jim Lange and featured six celebrity players and announcer Jay Stewart, who announced on "Bullseye" in season 1 which Jim Lange also starred in. But unfortunately "The Hollywood Connection" did not return for season 2 in the 1978-79 season, and both game shows now belong to Sony Pictures Television. RIP Jim Lange and Jay Stewart.

    Your typical "star studded" game show of the time. So many tried to emulate MG and HS.

      ​@@georgemaster689 The confusion might've been the result of the fact that both shows not only had essentially the same production company, but used exactly the same theme music ("Virgo" by Robert Ascot).
