You're not lying, though the bonus round is one of the few harder ones. In fact I would put America's I'm Telling as the hardest bonus round of any game show.
I know. When I saw this show, I immediately liked it. If they brought it back, I wonder if they would of kept the host. Wayne Cox is very good and it has a very catchy toon!
Growing up in Minnesota when I was a kid our satellite dish only got one channel and that was CBC. I grew up with nothing but Canadian television so at school I never understood when my friends talked about what they watched on tv. I remember coming home on the bus and watching Talk About with my mom. Great memories.
oh this takes me back I didn't know it was a canadian game show, I can still remember it coming on before Inspector Gadget on MTN (hey I was a game show junkie when I was under the age of ten)
This program will debut on Buzzr on Sunday May 29, 2022 at 1-4 P.M. Central Time, but beginning on Aug 1, 2022, it will only be on Weekdays at 7 A.M. Central Time.
@@kissfanmac If It was stated in Eastern Time, then someone could say, "Please state it in Central Time, because not everyone is familiar with Eastern Time". Secondly, if someone isn't intelligent enough to know that Central Time is 1 hour earlier than Eastern Time, they wouldn't be able to read this anyway.
It's a pretty good show. I watch reruns on Buzzr TV sometimes. The only thing annoying is how repetitive some of the contestants are. Some just repeat the same thing over and over again. Kinda annoying.
Is it possible for the challengers to lose the match and still get some cash? Yes! One team actually did: a bonus for getting all 10 words off a single board.
I watch this every morning on Game TV!
If any show deserved a comeback, it's this one. Simple rules, addictive and fast-paced👍

@@BrandonSugiura I believe Wayne is in semi-retirement, though he did narrate the documentary IN SEARCH OF CANADA'S GAME SHOWS.
@@andyleclerc3600 Yes, he retired from the Global BC weather center if i'm not mistaken.
GSN can revive the show well. It would be within their budget, especially if they keep the top prize to a laughably low $10,000
This is still my favorite game show.
I like this game. Good $ for canadian show in 1989~. I'm a canadian, so it hits home. Wayne Cox is a nice person
Wayne Cox is still active on social media and a very nice guy who enjoys the memories of this show.
Glad to hear. Used to watch it on CBC Windsor (CBET).
If they bring it back to ABC (or any other network) I wonder if he is able like to host it? I also would like to see it come back :)
He was/is dope! I love Wayne Cox.
@@chrisc432that would be cool. I mean, to see it on a revived ABC daytime lineup, or if part of fun and games,
I love Talk About.
I do.
@@taureanmay7480 I really got into this when it aired on KTTV Fox 11 Los Angeles.
Love the show. Wish it would come back. Was pleasantly surprised to see Garry and Linda. He is one of my fav actors..

This used to air on the USA Network when I was a kid. It's the only game show that approximates the "Outburst" board game, and I always liked it.
Two great Canadian exports were this and “Bumper Stumpers”.
I love this show.

My favorite game!!
Wayne Cox might very well be the Marc Summers of Canada; I almost mistook one for the other.
Wow, you’re not joking.
There was a British version of Talkabout that was made by Yorkshire Television & aired on ITV from 1990 until 1993, it was hosted by Andrew O Connor.
I remember this game even though I lived in Texas, USA.
I have seen this on the USA network where it had all the game shows in the middays
It was also sold to some of the Fox O&O stations in late ’89.
One of the pros of living in northern Maine is that you live close enough to get CBC broadcasting. CHSJ St. John NB
True for me! Used to watch it on CBET in Windsor from my city (Toledo, OH).

Way too early in my neck of the woods for me to watch (5:30am Pacific Time as of late last year)
I remember watching this on both CBET 9 and the USA Network. Fun game, solid host, should have lasted much longer.
True there.
Just got word Buzzr will air this program starting in June.

So this is what the board game Outburst looks like as a game show.
Actually, Pressman Corp. had a TalkAbout home game in 1989. I still have mine here in USA.
Ouch Ross talked her out of it, dang
This is either from November 30th or December 1st of 1989.
Wayne Cox both looks and sounds remarkably like Marc Summers.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that

A little bit.
I would have said William Shatner.
