A really good review of this watch. I purchased mine three years ago from Argos for the incredible price of only £29,99 and have only just changed the battery. It really is a wonderful watch for the price and I really enjoy wearing it. The design of the watch is by Casio itself apparently from what I have seen on other review channels so it doesn't copy from other watch brands. I was attracted to it by the Roman numerals on the watch face and also the minute markers on the outside of the face. I also like the sword hand hour and minute hands with the added gilt which makes the watch stand out as the gilt is also on the numerals and baton markers. The strap I also like even though it is a folded link bracelet but it is very comfortable to wear so I will not be changing the strap. With 100M water resistance and slim on the wrist with a day/date function it's a great everyday watch to wear and I prefer it to the two Casio Edifice watches that I also have in my collection of watches. Thanks for your review of this watch.

Thanks buddy! I initially was put off by the Roman numerals until I saw them in person and I was in love with it 😍

First stainless Steel watch or any watch I've had in 20 years, love it, had to remove two links which was easy enough and it looks great

Thank you so much for this great review, was really looking forward to buying this watch(argos had dropped it back down to £29.99). Wanted to make sure the diameter was correct so checked the casio website, came in at 46mm, while argos said 40mm!! Almost ruined it for me, luckily thought about searching it up with a RUclips video, and this one has answered it perfectly. Thank you so much!!

@@AwkwardHorologyI've got it now, and I absolutely love it!! it's a beauty, love the date too, changes from English to Spanish through the day!! Amazing finishing, polishing and brushed finishing is a perfect companion. Just need to get the links sorted now, don't trust myself to do it, been waiting on this watch for my mother to get me fro too long, don't want to end up scratching it, trying to find a place where they can do it(the argos I went doesn't do it on site and I'd have to wait 21 days(I can't do that😅)).

I've ended up doing it myself! But another skill learned, getting me closer to becoming a watchmaker hehe, it fits pretty nicely on my wrist, very happy!

Another spec that might be important to some is the lug width and the clasp width since the bracelet is tapered.
anyways interesting find. not a big fan of the roman numerals, and the gold accents. but if we know casio they might make another version with different dial and hands.

Just picked one up from my local Argos. Love it to bits, as much as my Rolex Datejust. Going to Argos tomorrow to buy another one as spare new :)

I impulse bought one of these after seeing an online 20% off deal. Had i been a bit less impulsive i would prob have seen the even cheaper Argos deal...doh! Turned up yesterday and really like it. Removed the original bracelet as haven't the skills to resize it (i did attempt one once and made a mess of it). Looked in my spare strap stash and tried it on a mesh (good), black rubber (ok) but now on a brown leather strap which i prefer but really needs a black one as per this video.

Best do-it-all budget quartz analog watch ever? Mine’s on a tan NATO for day-to-day and I switch to a Vario leather strap for smart attire. I’ve got the small edifice (EFV110) but the MTP has day/date so I prefer it.

Got mines from Argos as wel for £35, the bracelet is beyond poor, so I will put a silicone strap on it, but the actual watch looks very nice

@@AwkwardHorology for sure .. for the price it's an absolute bargain.. it's like getting an Oceanus type watch at a 10th of the price..I have two edifices . Both sapphire and one of them solar .. but I can safely say when I put a nice strap on this watch. It will get as much wrist time as those two
