Yes you get paid once your check in. Per Diem Is paid anytime the doors aren’t closed.

Do I have to know how two wil to be a flight attendant and how often do we get layovers as an on call ? Do we get paid for layovers

So you will apply through an airline company and they would send you to their flight attendant training. The layovers depend on the company you work for. You get paid a per diem for layovers

They are ok depending on where u are staying. It’s constantly changing and its very different for every company so that’s probably why you haven’t seen a lot abt it
