It's impressive that the snow was actually real, and not fake. Plus, Macaulay Culkin seemed such a natural performer, and he was only 9 during filming.
I was more surprised that he even accepted to play this role. I mean, yeah, he did do My Cousin Vinny, and was excellent in that movie. But this movie required him to do a bit more physical comedy and also to bite his tongue and avoid letting explicit language slip out
It's still the biggest Christmas movie of all time in terms of $ and popularity...yes hes mostly remembered for his Mob roles but everyone knows the movie Home Alone and why it's as good as it is!
Definitely Joe Pesci gave me a laugh or not. "Are you afraid to go out the window Harry? I'm Harry." Home Alone is always a classic during Christmas Season 😂
I love how even the simplest bloopers like Joe saying "Harry" instead of "Marv" are still hilarious. Love watching the outtakes of one of my favourite Christmas movies.
The conversation with the store clerk was always my favourite scene, and I love seeing the outtakes for it. Apparently, the two actors were allowed to ad lib the conversation.
Home Alone & Home Alone 2 will always be my favorite Christmas classics and I loved seeing these bloopers. Here are some other interesting info about Home Alone: *#1.) Peter did not pay for the trip to Paris, his brother did.* A lot of us believed that Peter was the one who paid for this expensive trip to Paris when it really was one of his brothers. If you listen to the conversation Kate has with Harry (when he’s disguised as a cop), she says that Peter’s brother moved to Paris and his kids had to stay with her & Peter so they can finish up school so as a thank you, Peter’s brother paid for their trip to Paris. How very generous of him. *#2.) Kate is a fashion designer!* Has anyone ever wondered why the McCallister’s house has so many mannequins or where Kevin got all those mannequins to pull off his trick? Well now you know! Even though the movie doesn’t come out and say what Kate or Peter do for a living, it’s obvious that Kate is the one who owns those mannequins for her career. She must really love her job. Now the question is, what does Peter do for a living? *#3.) Heather counts herself twice* If you pay close attention to this scene, you’ll see she counts herself (before Buzz tries to mess her up) and then she counts herself again at the end of the head count. *#4.) Kevin’s ticket gets thrown away* Not sure how many actually noticed this or not, but right after Kevin tackles Buzz and spills soda/milk on the tickets, Peter and others try to dry the tickets with napkins. Peter picked up the soaked napkins and tossed them in the trash along with Kevin’s ticket. If you look closely, you can see Kevin’s name on the ticket. Even if Kevin wasn’t forgotten about, he still wouldn’t be able to go. *#5.) Angels With Filthy Souls doesn’t exist!* Some of us believed that this film is real, but unfortunately it doesn’t exist. Angels With Filthy Souls only has one segment and it was filmed for Home Alone. You should be able to find that one segment here on YT. *6.) The Store Manager Talks to Kevin* Originally, it’s the store manager that talks to Kevin instead of the store clerk. You can watch this scene in the original Home Alone trailer (along with some other scenes that didn’t make it into the film). *7.) Harry & Marv were hired by Frank to rob the McCallister House* Now before I go any further with this one, this is a rumor that’s been going around/talked about for quite awhile and hasn’t been debunked. In the original script (while under Warner Bros.), Frank is the main villain. He hired Harry & Marv to rob his brother’s house while they were away in Paris. What he didn’t count on was Kevin getting left behind and he probably didn’t bother calling Harry & Marv about it since he figured they get rid of him anyways. Even though this is a rumor, it sounds pretty believable because: 1.) Frank is a cheapskate 2.) Frank hates Kevin (didn’t even care when he learned Kevin was left behind) 3.) Frank is already a thief (he stole the airline’s utensils) I wish I could see the original script because I’d love to see what Warner Bros. had in mind for Home Alone before Fox took over. Anyways, I like Home Alone the way it is.
1. I think that Rob paid for the trip to Paris, considering how much of a cheapskate Frank is. 2. Peter is a businessman. 3. Not only did Heather count herself twice, but she also forgot to count Linnie. 4. This is why the gate agent did not find an extra ticket when the McCallisters boarded the plane. 5. Angels With Filthy Souls might not exist, but it is a parody of a real life movie, Angels With Dirty Faces. 6. Why do you think that the manager was cut out of the film. 7. I heard about that, although some say that it was just a rumour. What do you think?
Two great performances I agree. But in Lethal Weapon his creation of Leo Getz is fantastic! Ok,Ok,Ok...Sooo do you get it? LOL His versatility of turning into a version of the character that can't be replicated is legendary.
I thought the best blooper is where Joe Pesci goes: Are you afraid to go out the window Harry? I’m Harry! That blooper is SO funny, seeing Daniel Stern laughing is so funny, and Joe Pesci looks towards the camera with a laughing smile on his face. That blooper is SO funny and NEVER, EVER gets old, my Dad and I watch Home Alone 1 and 2 every Christmas! We would watch the first one on Christmas Eve, then the second one on Christmas Day.
It's in no way a blooper, but I find it heartwarming that they found a way to reunite John Candy and Macaulay Culkin in another classic movie in a ridiculous way.
It would have been nice if they had a scene together where Candy playfully asks “hey, don’t I know you from somewhere?” Or even if his mom showed a picture of Kevin and he said “that looks like my nephew!” Cheap allusion, but it would be have been sweet
Joe Pesci is without a doubt a very versatile actor. Between movie roles like this and the Lethal Weapon movies to Raging Bull and Goodfellas, Joe Pesci could do it all👍
to me my most favorite home alone blooper is when Harry and Marv are in their van and are singing their own version of a Christmas song it makes me laugh hearing it
I was in Home Alone in the airplane scene when they discover Kevin was left behind. I'm sleeping across the aisle from John Heard. There were a couple of funny things that happened, but nobody was around to film them, or they were never saved in the outtakes.
I loved the bloopers the conversation with the checkout lady my favourite part, it's a real treat seeing this Maculay Culkin was amazing as were Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern great Christmas movie 👌🤗💗

Here are my thoughts of the Home Alone films: Home Alone: MASTERPIECE!!!!! Home Alone 2 Lost at New York: MASTERPIECE!!!!!! Home Alone 3: A good time no break times required. Home Alone 4: Will Self-destruct this movie from my mind in T-minius 5 seconds. Home Sweet Home Alone: Haven't seen it.
It's not a blooper, but it's an Outtake...Its when Kevin Is Shooting The Figures down the laundry shoot, when Mac yells "Someone's In My House!!" I always die laughing thinking or Watching it!😂😂😂😂😂
This just makes Home Alone that much better. It was both a happy time to film and happy time to watch which means both sides of the spectrum was satisfied which means it's a great movie
This is unrelated to any bloopers, but I never hear anyone acknowledge the fact that Daniel Stern would have been narrating The WonderYears along with acting in Home Alone. The series was making episodes during this time.
Behind the scenes, there was a swear jar on set since the film was filled with kids. Joe Pesci allegedly filled the entire jar in one day 😂🤚 They say that IRL, joe is not like the violent characters he plays: they say he is sweet and quiet. But man, he can still swear like a sailor
im just guessing but they probably slit the bottom then kind of taped it up and you can see Kevin is really letting the bags bounce alot to get the bottom to reopen.

You all made an mistake since this video only features 8 bloopers and not 10 as the title suggests.
But other than that this video is great 😁
My mom loved the home alone movies, I miss her laugh
Lol
It's impressive that the snow was actually real, and not fake. Plus, Macaulay Culkin seemed such a natural performer, and he was only 9 during filming.
💯💯👍👍👍👍💯💯💯
The snow was mostly corn starch
The snow on the ground, real, the snow falling in some of the scenes, fake
Sad what happened afterwards
Pollution.
One of the *greatest* Joe Pesci performances. And heavily underrated.
I heavily agree
I was more surprised that he even accepted to play this role. I mean, yeah, he did do My Cousin Vinny, and was excellent in that movie. But this movie required him to do a bit more physical comedy and also to bite his tongue and avoid letting explicit language slip out
His performance was not underrated.
@@chasehedges6775 he was much better in goodfellas and the irishman.

Home Alone 1 and 2 are amazing Christmas Classics.
Indeed, they're the only Home Alone movies worth watching, possibly next to the third movie.
Ive never heard anyone say that before
Home Alone 3, 4, 5, and now 6 are all garbage.
*3 4 and 5 STANK!!!*
Yep totally agree. Should have stopped after 1 and 2. They are classics.
Definitely Joe Pesci gave me a laugh or not. "Are you afraid to go out the window Harry? I'm Harry." Home Alone is always a classic during Christmas Season 😂
What about the other blooper?
“Marv, I’ll tell everybody down at the bar!”
There would be no Home Alone without the best of Joe Pesci
And Macauley Calkin!
@@ellawright9747 Any of them for that matter.
I love how even the simplest bloopers like Joe saying "Harry" instead of "Marv" are still hilarious. Love watching the outtakes of one of my favourite Christmas movies.
Fun fact: Today, my class in school watched Home Alone 1 and 2. It was the last day of school before the winter break. We had so much fun.
Nice! Such great films!
“Are you afraid to go out the window Harry? Wait I’m Harry” 😂😂🤣🤣
Ha ha good one😂
“Marv, I’ll tell everybody down at the bar!”
The conversation with the store clerk was always my favourite scene, and I love seeing the outtakes for it. Apparently, the two actors were allowed to ad lib the conversation.
Of course, not a lot of people noticed, but the female store clerk's name tag says that her name is Sally.
Speaking of names, the tarantula is named Axl, after Axl Rose, and the pigeon lady in the sequel is named Annie.
The entire cast, are legends. But Pesci honestly a treasure that I can only hope is doing some good movies right now.
Harry to Marv: “Are you afraid to go out the window Harry? I’m Harry.” (Joe Pesci, 1990).
Me: 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
"Are you afraid to go out the window, Harry? I'm Harry."
Still kills me
I feel like it doesn’t matter which blooper is most hilarious, I mean they’re bloopers for crying out loud. They all give me a kick
That blooper is better than most!
0:03 the grocery bags were designed with a special trigger to burst open. Mac did a great job timing his annoyed expression
Joe Pesci may play a lot of tough guys in movies but it's nice to see he's actually a really nice guy
Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern were perfect in Home Alone, especially the bloopers
" it's worse to piss off Joe P. then Barry the spider "
You mean Axl the spider.
Rest In Peace John Heard
