I'm sorry, but Liam adding that extra bag is exceptional service, what a fantastic assistant. I hope he gets the sets he wants this coming year, he's earnt it 100%
Yes, he was a really nice bloke, he told me it was raining outside, so put everything in a double bag, so it didn't fall apart, AND then put the extra bag on top too. AND then said he was happy to be in my video... so what more could I ask?!?!
@@adamthunder9869 thanks, and in that case, welcome to my channel! There’s a lot of City MODs, Classic Space, Trains with some vintage sets thrown in too. I hope you enjoy what you find. Thanks for commenting.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I have been travelling and hadn't had a chance to make any 2025 LEGO purchases until yesterday evening when I got back and ordered set 31161, the 3in1 Medieval Dragon from Argos. Should be ready for collection later today. Really looking forwards to it. I have to say that's not a huge queue. I was at the Leicester Square store's opening and had to queue for over 4 hours.
WOW! FOUR HOURS !??!?!?!? - That's dedication to Lego! I've only ever seen it accross the front and down one side, but this one went down the side and back up again, so I presumed it was long! Have fun with your Argos build. I was given some "one-for-all" gift cards for Christmas, and Argos is one of their stores, so I'm off to look for something to get !
@@antal3365 I obviously don’t want to give away video spoilers but…. that is a VERY good guess!!! Ot might also be the reason that I bought three McLaren sets! (I also just realised there’s a spoilers pun… I don’t want to give away any F1 car spoilers either!!)
I am really loving the F1 x City sets as they take me back to 1997 when Lego did their system array of sets with race cars. The Indy Transport was my first ever set during this year I received for for my 7th birthday so the F1 transport really scratches that nostalgia itch. Nice haul Jez!! And that soapbox derby set is absolutely hilarious. 😆 Picked up the Arc-17, Ashoka’s starfighter, lucky cat and stargazing with Celeste. -Jason.
I can see why the City F1 sets would give you nostalgia, I hadn’t made the connection to the 90’s race sets. You’ve got some nice sets there too. As well as the soap box ramp set, there are also two smaller sets of soap box cars… pizza vs fire truck and aeroplane vs hospital bed!!! But I think the toilet is my favourite!
I travelled to the new Manchester store inside the Trafford centre. I picked up the Tudor corner (of course), duel on peridea, the new 4+ Spiderman set as I collect SM minifigs, and a couple of sets for my son. And got both the GWP’s. I’d never been to a store on release day, I usually order online and I don’t think I’d rush to do a store run again 🤣 it was quite nuts.
you got a nice launch day haul there, and there’s never any shame in getting 4+ sets!! (like you, I quite often do it for the minifigures!!!) Stores on lunch days can get really crazy, especially when it’s not a normal school/work day. I got the Tudor corner online because I didn’t want to have to walk back to my hotel with it !!! and I didn’t need it urgently, whereas the City sets I want to open and plan modifications etc. As our hotel was only 10 mins walk away I thought I should go, but Leicester Square store didn’t seem to be any busier than it is on a normal weekend day!
@@TronIsBlack oooh… now you’re making me think I need to buy it, just to modify!!! Brickset did a really good job at reducing the yellow, which you can see here: brickset.com/article/117215/improving-the-new-renegade

the off road truck is a really nice set. The Pagani retired at the end of 2024, but they probably stopped making it a while ago. You might still be able to find it in regular toy shops. In the UK it’s still on Amazon, and Argos have it with 20% off at £16.
I like collecting the Christmas jumper minifigures (not the plush ones) and I find it annoying that they haven’t released the Stormtrooper one as an actual minifigure.
Well spotted… I hadn’t actually realised that they haven’t made the stormtrooper one in a minifigure. I presumed it must have been from an older advent calendar that is forgotten about (even though I’ve bought them all over the years!)

Those fireworks were amazing! Great haul as well, I can't wait for the modification videos!
once we’re all unpacked from the holiday, I’ll start building and planning MODs. hopefully first one out next weekend.
Nice video. looking through and appreciating a few of your older videos too!

Hi, yes I thing you are right the new Blacktron Set has a Little to much yellow on it. (Needs to be modificated)

For a purist, I would agree, however, once built in person, the added yellow actually looks really good.
