- In this video I explain how to install the 2014-2020 Lexus IS MacLifterKit metal replacement Bumper Bracket and the Bumper Tab Support kit. With this kit, there should be no more of the notorious bumper sag issue! This install is pretty straight forward. You got this! Thank you for watching. 🙂

Always nice to see install videos from you. I used your vids to install same mods on my car! I thought I was only one with the front bumper problem, but i guess its just a common 3is thing that happens after taking off your bumper😅 Can't wait to get the lifter kit and install it💪

Thanks for the video. Just added them to my 2015 is250. I am doing a 21 conversion bumper. Do you know anyone that has done the is3 - 21 conversion? I am having a bit of trouble getting the side parts wrapping. It’s about 1/4 inch from the screw holes on the bottom and sides. Any help/tips would be amazing.

Lifter kit come with tab reinforcement or they separate? Awesome vid, stoked to get my bumper lookin right again
Hello! They brackets and the tab reinforcements are separate. Theoretically, if your tabs are okay, then you don’t need the reinforcement. But I would still install it if I were you. Also, in the future, if you get a new bumper, then you can just buy the reinforcement tabs again. You wouldn’t have to buy an entire kit again.

How did you remove those flat head screws from the wheel wells? There should be 2 on each side. I had trouble especially with all the dirt overtime so I ended up destroying and prying all of them out. Any tups are advice? Did you run into the same problem too?
@@prodigy6X04 The plastic ones connected to the fender liner? You have to push a decent amount while twisting to make sure you don’t strip them.
If not these, could you help specify? 😅
@@Grey3IS yes those are the ones. Not sure why they didnt use rivets lol totally had trouble taking them out and ended up clawing them out essentially. lol
@@prodigy6X04Yeahhhh. Once they are “unscrewed” 90°, you then have to lift and pry off the plastic clip thing from the bumper. Interesting design.
I have a 2is any fixes for the rear bumper?
@@JR-nh4fi Nothing for the rear yet, just the front. If your tabs are broken, I recommend trying to plastic weld them back together 🙂.
Is the front bumper trim that was once chrome; Is that a carbon wrap or a carbon one piece from a japanese parts maker like Lexon?
If wrap, was it diy or executed by a shop?

@@highcard6155 Correct! It doesn’t come with adhesive promoter (most parts don’t), but it’s definitely a great Idea to use it.
Any plans for a catch can or chargepipe?
@@cultivatedrice I”ll definitely grab an HPS charge pipe when VF comes out with the unlocked ECU tuning abilities for the public. Catch cans aren’t necessarily needed for this engine/ set-up.

My IS also had the bumper removed by me, an amateur. They had parts like this! It's also good to have the LEXUS logo in an invisible place! Is it possible for me in Tokyo to get one?

total mismatch in my case, I have an Is 300h xe 30, I ordered the kit thinking that the xe20 are the same, while I was happy I was so disappointed that I lost the money and didn't even solve the problem

I got a different kit , yours should fit even it is xe 30 . looked on your video it is the same fitment but my kit not the same

@@hoangsolo6351 Yes, but not as common yet. There is a slight “fix” piece of plastic you can buy on Etsy.
