This is the story about a girl who is stuck in a game and this is her story .The saddest part about this is not her realizing she will never be with you, it's her accepting it. When she realizes she will never be able to be together with you and you're better off without her, she doesn't keep trying. She gives up and "leave[s] you be". You know that this is goodbye forever. And for you, that's okay because you're a normal person with a life outside of that game. But for her, it's not okay because she is trapped in a void alone forever. And still, she loves you so much that she gladly accepts this for you.
I know it's all just a fictional story. But damn, it is one good story.
