- This insane Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.9 TDI making over 400kw on the wheels, was proudly built and tuned by Eddie Bartlett, owner of ED Tuning from Potchefstroom, South Africa. This car recently also ran a 1/4 mile pass of 11.9seconds at Midvaal Raceway, whilst having some clutch issues on the day.

Shop had some electrical issues on the day and the big fan could not be used. We improvised best we could

This is what you call a Dyno queen, stage 1 Golf R , S3 , RS3 , A45 will eat this off the line. The real achievement of this power is how well you can put the power down , that dyno graph shows theres still alot of work to be done with regards to the tune.

@@CCDVIDEO The point is - if you making that amount of power and you can't put it down nicely , then its just a dyno queen and inefficient. perform a boost by gear tune or bring the boost , in a more liner style and you will make more use of the power on the floor. Looking at the Dyno graph , the tuning is bad … you don't see that ???

is it a 5 speed or 6 speed gearbox? if its a 6 then u need to dyno it in 5th gear cus that is the closest to 1to1 gear ratio if u dyno it in 4th then u are geting biger nubers
Never in my entire life have I seen a 6spd car being dyno’d in 5th gear
@@CCDVIDEO that says alot about your knowladge. i doesnt mater if it is 4, 5 or 6. U should always dyno it as close as u can to 1to1. In this case it is 5 on the 6 speed gearbox. for example on bmw you should always dyno in 5 which is the 1to1 gear. On a lower gear than that u will get higher whp values at the same hp. So your whp values are useless and that shows on the 1/8 mine

You can do that power on a 2265vk, it will spool much better and you'll have much more powerband available 🤷🏼♂️ no need for +160% injectors either, there are people doing 500hp on 120... So many wrong things😂at least the head is alright

Until it explodes, you can yes. But it likely explodes way before you hit 300WKW
You can NOT do 410kW on 65mm (even it is extended tip 70). There is no capability for that without additives (NOS etc.).

Impressing dyno data, not so impressing track data.. in fact, those numbers can pe easily obtained by a @350Bhp ibiza 😂. This is probably due to way larger turbo housing and a lot of inertia of the shaft. Maybe it's time to modify the gearing, or to spool turbo by nos shot.
It's 410hp, and 310kW, just saying it's a damn clickbait video.

You are stupid, car with that amount of power will spin much more than 70hp car and therefore traction will be way worse (less) so it will be more easy to hold in place.. Pure physics..

There was a problem with their power on the day so we could not make use of the fan. Very unfortunate, but had to make the best of the situation at hand

@@Sum41FanNumberOne oh okay, yes even more on diesels, a modified diesel goes fast on 0-150 but with the gears since it goes shorter in rpm it still isnt rly fast after 150 even if its still is fast, plus the FWD trans with that much torque, but very impressive how the 1.9 TDI ASZ block is strong !!
