Entrepreneurship at Yale Today: A Fireside Chat with Jorge Torres of Tsai CITY

In honor of Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month, Accelerate Yale had a fireside chat with Jorge Torres '96, Interim Managing Director of the Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale. His teaching and coaching focus on new venture creation, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
He shared his unusual path from a STEM major to tech and venture capital, and the reasons for his unconventional choices. He explored the change in attitude towards entrepreneurship on the Yale campus over time, and shared ideas on how we can foster and support innovation in the Yale community.
