To any negative people chiming in… never be jealous of someone who looks like they have endless money. I can’t imagine all the hours they put in sweat equity in their home, the long hours keeping up with the videos/editing, working full time job, all after having their grown up kids raised. I fully respect hard work, and long hours. Congratulations to the Osta’s on a beautiful home. Keep up the greatest Chanel I watch weekly.

You've come so far since you began this homestead build and now you reward us viewers with a comprehensive tour of the result of all the long hours of hands-on DIY you shared with us through the months of building your dream.
It turned out wonderful. Mrs. Osta really put in a lot of work on the Christmas decorating. It should be featured in Better Homes & Gardens magazine!

I'm not going to lie, Mrs Osta could make a fortune doing home interior. She's got a very great eye for rustic design and puts it together very uniquely. She sees value where everyone else wouldn't. My wife does the same, and I always think her ideas are completely nuts and will look terrible when she finds or buys stuff(I think is absolute junk). Then the finish product looks super good, and then I feel absolutely terrible for doubting her vision. 😂

Absolutely love the place and did a great job with the Christmas decorations. I love Christmas very much. I’m originally from Ireland and I’m living in Canada now in Alberta for 17 years. It’s interesting to me to see the way different cultures celebrate Christmas. I have some German friends who open their presents on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas Christmas Day. In North America a lot of people decorate the outside of their homes with lights and nativity sets looks great.. but there is one thing what Irish and British people do that I’ve not seen anyone else we decorate some of our ceilings in the house. Back in the day to chains and ceiling decorations used to be all made out of paper but now they use kind of like shiny file material. They fold away flat, but then on out like paper origami. we will hang chains from the ceiling with stars and bells and other Christmas shaped objects, lots of balloons of different shapes, and traditional mistletoe, of course. Thinking about it now my German friends also do a lot of those little Christmas village things. They collect them over the years and build it into a town. One of my Christmas traditions was as I travelled around a lot of the world I used to pick up decorations to hang on the tree from many different places. Many people decorate their Christmas tree in a particular theme, as where mine was very very very cryptic lol. Was one thing I used to do in Ireland, Newbridge, silver, and Irish silver jewellery making company used to make decorations out of silver and they’d release two or three of them every year I used to buy them and hang them on the tree very expensive decorations, but you only buy a couple of them each year, so it’s manageable one of those Christmas luxuries I used to like. The detail those little silver ornaments was absolutely amazing.

Sorry, I went on a trip down memory lane with all the Christmas stuff but when I saw your upstairs room with the pool table and the video game, the chillout hangout game area. I thought that was pretty cool. A couple of things I think would be great up there would be air hockey a couple of pinball machines and a bar billiards table. Bar billiards is probably the greatest game you can play with a queue if you don’t know what it is. Look into it absolute fantastic game to play. Oh yeah darts would probably be another good game.

*Watching your channel has a strong "surreal" sense to it. When you folks say, "Dream home," you're not kidding around ! Two things I cannot help to notice about your lifestyle since I began watching your channel back about 2.5 years ago - 1. You seem to have access to unlimited financial resources ? 2. You have not failed to miss even one opportunity to demonstrate this fact. When I think of what my life would (Or could) be like if I won a huge Lotto 6/49 1st Mega-Prize, or was privy to an incredibly large financial settlement, I think it would look very similar to your RUclips channel. From the giant dream home inside and out, to all the incredible "man toys," your hands seem to reach into some golden cookie jar, where the cookies never run out.*

In February of 2020 I had blueprints done for a pole barn house build here in Michigan. During that timeframe I was researching and looking for as many ideas as possible and randomly came across your first build video. I haven't missed a build update video since and really enjoy the rest of your content as well having a snowmobile and SXS myself. I've used a lot of similar ideas that you have done at your and really enjoyed the great detail in your videos. I just finally moved into my house in July of 2023 and am currently working on the outdoor projects(firewood shed, raised flower/garden beds, paver patio, etc.) so this video was very helpful again. I can't wait to see the upcoming outdoor project videos! Thank you for doing these videos!

As a Mason, who has occasionally done paving stones, Little pro tip after you sweep in your polymeric sand. Your best bet is to put down a few sheets of plywood and then run your whacker plate over that. This is good as it will shake up the pavers working in the sand and will prevent any of the pavers from getting chipped and cracked.. you lift up the plywood and then you sweep the sand around again as you shaken up the pavers, you will have little hollow voids some places, so you fill those voids. Put down the plywood and go again, repeat process till all your joints are full. Once you are happy, sweep up the excess sand as much as possible. Now you take a leaf blower and blow the pavers lightly as you don’t want to blow the sand out of the joints you just want to blow it off the surface of the pavers. Once this is achieved, you wear it down several times. Allow it to dry and set up now you can hit it full-blown with a pressure washer to make sure it’s all nice and lovely. This is my pro tip for anyone doing pavers. Some people will use a whacker plate with a rubber plate instead of plywood now this will help against chipping and cracking. This is a little quicker and a little less work than the plywood but I find it blows away too much of the sand so I generally don’t like doing it. I prefer the plywood.
