Fit the housing correctly to the correct torque if possible. My XC90 recently broken down because this housing failed. Either the seal or thread was damaged. If the housing fails, all fuel pressure is lost, instant breakdown and needs recovery and to replaced at a garage lower fuel tank to reaplace)..costing upto £300 in total.. you really don't want this failing on a motorway!!
