With all the (unnecessary) drama surrounding the game, I selfishly (or unselfishly) feel that the only way to appease a generally ungrateful and highly ignorant fanbase (for at least a week) -who have claimed to give up on the "dead' game 101 times, yet annoyingly are still here-is to have NRS make this beauty playable to the masses-I mean, he is technically built already, right!? And finally. a stage that truly shows off the power of next-gen consoles, complete with ray tracing and all...now, only another half decade for Sony to quit making games compatible with PS4....this should be a teachable moment of what is possible when you don't...

Everyone hates on it and I can agree there’s a lot wrong with the game but I still really enjoy it. In my opinion the game just needs more things like Floyd to keep the game interesting. I just fought him last night using kung lao lost once but the second time i won only because he taunted at the end so he gave me a free combo to finish him off i thank floyd for that see ... Ninjas can really be nice after all😅 i wanted to use johnny but i did the last clue with lao so im glad i finish it, what a nightmare hopefully boon can make these secret challenges easier next time, way too much to grind for 3 days.😂
@ yeah the game needs more skins in general for every character other than Mileena, Kitana and Scorpion. Even though I hope scorpion gets his mk11 skin 😂 everyone on the roster needs an equal amount of skins.

One is for completing the whole final chapter of the game and the other is beating Baraka’s test your might. Look up thethiny on x. He has a list of every challenge you can try to get Floyd.

@@5part4 the challenges are all random. The chapter 15 challenge was just the one that triggered for me. You can play in towers of time and local with two controllers. You have to get his name to pop up a certain amount of times. It’s not the same for everyone. I got it on the tenth challenge. Others got more than 10 and still haven’t got it. It’s all random

@@roybrendersify I tried every challenge over again after each Floyd notification. Once you get a challenge I don’t think you can do it again so I crossed each one I did off the list and went through each challenge except the ones I completed again.

@@Hurdkiller123 the challenges can be done in ToT or local versus match. There are 2 or 3 challenges that can be done in story mode. I did the story mode one where you have to complete all of chapter 15 then enter local versus and it triggered the fight for me.
@@12tzFor Story Mode? One Challenge is to successfully break down the door with Baraka during the QTE sequence and another Challenge is to reach the top of the Pyramid in Chapter 15. You won’t get a Notification though. After you complete either of those Challenges, Save and Quit, then enter a local VS match, and you’ll get the Notifications then
@@SIKE_415 Facts. To this day, still never unlocked the secret Jade fight in MK9 (Double Flawless on Shang Tsung + Fatality). Even on very easy, no matter what I do, he always managed to get a quick jab on me, sometimes at the last second. I just gave up because I was getting so frustrated at it. Then I heard of other players getting the Double Flawless, only to have Shang morph right before “Finish Him” which means the Fatality won’t count because the game registers it as a Fatality against someone else, and not Shang 🤦🏻♂️

@RomainGuilbert-s1l try to get the character specific ones done first then pick your main to try to get the rest cause Floyd is not an easy fight. You get three chances to beat him. I don’t know what happens if you lose. Good luck

But the weird thing is that before I got the Floyd achievement for losing without doing anything, I got one at the beginning of the match without doing anything for it. So I have no idea how I got that third one

You have to get his name to pop up a certain amount of times. It’s not the same for everyone. I got it on the tenth challenge. Others got more than 10 and still haven’t got it. It’s all random

I don’t like Floyd !!! I think MK is loosing ideas and made a ninja with every power of the ninjas because they had nothing better to create!!! MK needs to change into a better game ! It’s literally the same as the old school versions…

@@roybrendersify I tried every challenge over again after each Floyd notification. Once you get a challenge I don’t think you can do it again so I crossed each one I did off the list and went through each challenge except the ones I completed again.

What do you mean you entered local vs match?
@@Hurdkiller123 the challenges can be done in ToT or local versus match. There are 2 or 3 challenges that can be done in story mode. I did the story mode one where you have to complete all of chapter 15 then enter local versus and it triggered the fight for me.

@@12tzFor Story Mode? One Challenge is to successfully break down the door with Baraka during the QTE sequence and another Challenge is to reach the top of the Pyramid in Chapter 15. You won’t get a Notification though.
After you complete either of those Challenges, Save and Quit, then enter a local VS match, and you’ll get the Notifications then

@@SIKE_415 Facts. To this day, still never unlocked the secret Jade fight in MK9 (Double Flawless on Shang Tsung + Fatality). Even on very easy, no matter what I do, he always managed to get a quick jab on me, sometimes at the last second. I just gave up because I was getting so frustrated at it.
Then I heard of other players getting the Double Flawless, only to have Shang morph right before “Finish Him” which means the Fatality won’t count because the game registers it as a Fatality against someone else, and not Shang 🤦🏻♂️

@@InvinciDon I don't know. I Actually like the whole nostalgia feeling about it. It really has that old school way of fighting games. Unlocking the secret character or various Easter eggs. I mean it literally has the whole community talking about it so. By far the best part of the update.

@RomainGuilbert-s1l try to get the character specific ones done first then pick your main to try to get the rest cause Floyd is not an easy fight. You get three chances to beat him. I don’t know what happens if you lose. Good luck

@chilito92 it's very confusing. So far I got Three Floyds things. One with winning an animality and the other one was losing without doing anything. But the weird thing is that before I got the Floyd achievement for losing without doing anything, I got one at the beginning of the match without doing anything for it. So I have no idea how I got that third one
@@seeonaga1524 if you look up thethiny on x he has a list of all the requirements you need for each challenge. Theres a challenge I got in the video but im not sure what triggered it. Everyone isn’t gonna have the same challenges work for them. You just have to keep trying different things and hope it works.
