    Something to keep in mind when looking at this for practical use is that the study used a chamber that creates pressure of 2 atmospheres. Most consumer hbot chambers are rated at 1.3 atmospheres. The only "consumer" one that I've seen that can reach that, it goes to 3 atmospheres, costs $40k and is a giant 1250lb monster. Most other consumer chambers can be folded up and stored away after use. The studies that have been done on ptsd, brain trauma, and other health benefits have been done primarily on the consumer grade 1.3 chambers.

    My NAD+ experience:
    I know my evidence might be just anecdotal, but I've been taking a precursor to NAD+ called Nicotinamide Riboside at a 300mg daily dose orally for almost 7 months (I started May 9th and currently it's December 6th). My current age is 19 years old. Here's my timeline so far in terms of benefits:
    Since my start, it took my body 2 and a half weeks to adapt to the change and feel any benefits but then I woke up one day roughly 2 weeks later and had plenty of energy. This baffled me since that night I only got 5 hours of sleep. With all of this energy, I wasn't hyper but more clearer-minded and restful. I would go as far as to say I felt like I had the same energy as I did when I was 12.
    After those 2 and a half weeks, the next big change for me was constantly dreaming. For 9 straight days, I had at least 2 dreams per night which was unheard of for me and I was low key excited for what would happen next. During this time, I noticed how after lunchtime around midday, I didn't have a drop in energy. Previously, I had attended school and as soon as my lunch break had ended and I made it to the next period, I used to get a wave of lethargy and often dozed off to sleep for a quick power nap. What happened next really changed me. Due to my sleep schedule fixing itself gradually, my circadian rhythm was fixing itself and I had begun to feel tired earlier which took me by surprise.
    Following this abundant change, about a week later I noticed that I would watch Netflix shows and RUclips in a whole different way. Before this experiment for myself, I would most of the time watch a show and remember some details unless something drastic happened in what I was watching or doing in general but something changed. My memory of recollecting what had happened was so much better as now I wouldn't just remember minor details but I would be able to remember the characters names even a couple months after watching the show. In my day-to-day life, my improved memory helped me remember orders I would write down since I'm the "Uber Eats" for the family, driving to and from restaurants and picking up food for us.
    Going forward, I recently started taking this other oral supplement called Resveratrol that David Sinclair also takes which I'll have to do more research on. I know this is all anecdotal evidence and it's not concrete evidence but these have been the benefits 3 months into taking this NAD+ booster as supplementation. Since the start, these benefits felt like they have compounded as I feel incredible! Thanks for reading the script for my RUclips comment Ted Talk :)

      Most people age because they believe they will and should age at a certain time. Placebo is very powerful, removing ideas of you will grow old shrivel and die and you remain youthful for the rest of your life. The power of belief hasn’t been studied enough. If we raised in a society where we were taught since we were children that we will live to 500 or perhaps even forever I’m sure our lifespans would be much longer.

    • @itsrx870
      @itsrx870 2 года назад +2

      That is the goal of rebirthers like Leonard Orr and Sondra ray (though they started at a much later age) which is probably why Leonard Orr died. For most his life he lived in death and believed in death. Only after 60 he chose the path of eternal life. Just some information to excite your heart. I have read many books that mention how belief effects aging yet I find nothing on the internet about it. One book was Miss Annabel secrets of the worlds first immortals. It even talks about setting a 300 year calendar. Plan far beyond what you previously believed possible. Plan beyond humans current lifespan, see ahead. See life ahead be more. Like B Mo from adventure time. Be More. My list says I’ll learn different languages in the coming centuries. For now I’m learning Chinese. Try it and become alive. Stop letting the stupid idea of inevitable aging and death ruin your exciting eternal child like wonder. 我学了中文19个月了。我不会放弃。祝你好运 😉

I did notice a huge difference in my energy level and well feeling when I use it... and also when I dont I feel the difference. That’s correct. I’ve been doing hyperbaric oxygen therapy for a little over six months for now. At first, I did 30 sessions total, three times a week. And then after a couple months I am doing it once a week. It works like magic. Even though it’s not magic, it’s science. When you deliver pure oxygen inside of the pressurized chamber it delivers straight to your blood plasma and your body does what it does best- heel and rejuvenate. And yes, it increases the telomere length. I’ve done the blood test on biological aging and so far I am five years younger. I think, if you do it all the time and for a long period of time, it’s very possible that your aging process will significantly slowing down or even getting reversed. I also use red light therapy, cryotherapy, NanoVi device (DNA repair in fights oxidative stress), exercising regularly and eat super healthy. Besides taking tons of supplements.
    I guess it all works in combination. You can’t expect jumping in the chamber and become automatically younger without having a healthy lifestyle.

    From what I've learned, the original story was about how, after hyperbaric treatment, there was a higher ratio of cells with long telomeres to cells with short telomeres, but scientists weren't sure if the short telomeres were being lengthened or just destroyed by oxidation, both would increase the ratio of longer telomere cells and not actually lengthen telomeres at all.

It is often used by riders to heal injuries more quickly, so it seems logical that the methodology would translate to the slowing of the aging process as well.
