Quinyon Mitchell is a dawg. The Eagles got real lucky with how the draft played out there. I'd be more surprised if he didn't end up starting over Bradbury by the end of the season
Leaving out Isaiah Rodgers is malpractice. He is definitely in the conversation. Highly unlikely he starts outside - with Slay and Mitchell almost certainly being CB1 and CB2. But Rodgers could start in the slot. He was great for the Colts.
@@ryancampbell1847 Oh i'm well aware. I'm not even suggesting he should start in the slot. I just know that he won't start over Mitchell. And Slay On the outside
I’m excited about this secondary but I believe year 2 will be fun to watch them fly at full speed. We are implementing a new defense and are relying on rookies to make the jump to pro level.
I don't think Slay is responsible for the 15 yard dig route breaking away from his zone, if he is playing a deep half. It's more likely on the linebacker in Tampa 2, you had it drawn as a cover 3 shell but I don't see that from the broadcast angle
We have all seen all of this tape a million times. It would have been nice if you had broken down the comparisons for these guys, (except Quinyon who is definitely starting) against Isaiah Rodgers, Tyler Hall, Eli Ricks and Kelee Ringo. Even Avonte Maddox is back. And no mention of how any of them would fit in Vic Fangio's system. Your most useful lane is picking out things we haven't seen as much.
Eagles will attempt to trade for Bradberry and fail. He will get cut. They’re just waiting to see if Cooper, Rodgers and Ringo can handle the job. Also, Blankenship is no guarantee to be the starting FS especially if Cooper doesn’t win the CB job but he’s still too good to keep off the field. This should be interesting to see. Without a doubt, it’ll be one of the most interesting position battles on the team along with OG and LB.
“CJGJ could be a potential starter”?????????????????? Did I hear this wrong? Hes a bonafide starter in this defense and PFF doesn’t take away from his impact. He didnt play much last year yes, but look at what he did for the Eagles before that. Also Isaiah Rodgers, Tyler Hall, Avonte Maddox (when healthy) are some names worth mentioning because each of these guys could be starting. Kelee Ringo & Sydney Brown have alot of upside as well but I doubt theyll be starters. They’re fairly young still and even though they have starting experience, I dont think theyre ready just yet. Eagles are the deepest theyve been in a long time at D Back. Slay, Quinyon, Dejean, Rodgers, Maddox, Hall, Ringo, CJ, Blankenship, Brown, even Bradberry all have a possibility to be a day one starter depending on how their camps go. If you ask me, im starting Slay and Quinyon on the outside with Rodgers inside, CJ & Dejean at safety. Ringo and Bradberry as outside backup, Tyler Hall as slot backup, Sydney Brown and Blankenship as safety backups. You’d have great depth and be able to rotate more than the past years.
Slay is older and has an avg year, he isn’t going anywhere this year. He’s the most consistent player in the secondary. Bradberry on the other hand 🤷🏽♂️
He’s not making the 53 man roster hopefully. Eat the money and cut him loose, keep the young talent that would be expected to improve, rather than the older player who seems to be over the hill.
CJ Garner-Johnson was practically an All-Pro the last time he was in Philadelphia.
Forgetting Isaiah Rodgers !!
An Avonte Maddox even though he’ll only play 8 games
@@Freebandz7578 games would be a miracle lmao, never seen a toe be such a liability. Not his fault but damn.
and Keelee Ringo
And Eli ricks
@@Freebandz757Maddox ain’t making it tbh he’s just there for competition

Hell, Q will start over Bradberry week 1 lol
Ty for pronouncing deJawn correctly.
You must be new around here. Once he says a name one way, that’s how it always will be to him 😂
I think it was more by chance but how bout it lol

He rarely played in the slot for the colts all of his snaps were outside and hasn't played in a year so we really don't know what he is...

Zay Rodgers, Tyler Hall, Ringo and Maddox as subs too will definitely help. We winning the superbowl

Exactly.
Definitely will be ahead of Bradbury in depth chart, and showed pro bowl level talent in Indianapolis

i agree the Eagles need 4 corners, as does any team in today's game tho, nice vid still
Really don’t get why your so doubtful on Cj but good analysis overall
Don't know about this analysis at all. The second play was not on Slay, seems like linebackers needed to fill the gaps by getting deeper
Oh cjgj is going to start. Dont worry about that lol

Do a player review on Javon Bullard from Georgia

James Bradberry is the Joe Biden of the Eagles
