I've been wanting to change my magnaflow I've been running on my 2008 Silverado since I got he in 08 , almost got a super 10. But then I heard about this muffler and damn. I really like how it sounds.
I believe its time for an upgrade!
I bought the cat back system for my 2020 tundra in 2020,I like it but wish they had a dual system at the time.Its not loud at idle or when cruising on hwy speeds,but when you hammer it its barking for sure.
Looking at replacing my rear mufflers with the TR series performance mufflers on my Durango RT 5.7 2023. 2.5' or 3'? Itll be paired with the 5 inch tips. Looking for a moderate sound nothing to loud. The suitcase will remain inline
So pretty much Magnaflow has that fiber glass inside the perforated core

Great video and very awesome seeing the production process. Everyone else acts like it's a huge secret lol. I really like the sound of the tr series mufflers and wanted to run dual on my benz e550 coupe but they are a bit loud for what I want... was wondering if you made these in the standard oval shape style?

I got a wrx with aftermarket headers and catless jpipe. I love aggressive but would the r series be to aggressive?
It might be unless thats what your goal is for the Exhaust Tone.

R series,its smaller and will just tone down your car a bit.

Luckily I watched this video. I took my Tacoma to get a the TR exchanged out for my factory muffler. The new design has a specific way of installing. Front/ Back. I wrote on the muffler where front is due to the air going over the louvers. Employee stated they typically install the opposite. Can Carven start placing a sticker on front/back for install purposes?
I will see what we can do about inlet and outlet on the mufflers.
Have an 09 Silverado extended cab. Your cat back kits run from 2010 onward. Wondering why they don't run from 07 onward? Thanks
The hanger placements were different when we installed the cat back on an 09.
Do you guys sell the Carvan TR Muffler without the things that go inside basically like the R model muffler?

I deleted the resonator on my Wrangler 392, it sounds great but it drones now. Does the R reduce drone or only the TR? Thanks 🙏🏿

Unfortunately not at this time. I say go with our Carven-TR Muffler, that will be the best option for your vehicle.
Dodge Charger 5.7 here : Will the TR series as mid mufflers help make the cabin more comfortable ? Straight pipes sounds mean ! - but…. low RPMs and highway driving literally gives you headaches.
Yes, that will definitely help with in cab drone.
Mufflers usually do better the further back they are. That's why on Scat Packs, the rear resonator delete drones worse than the mid muffler delete. If you've got no mufflers or resonators, I would put the TR series in the rear for less drone, and the packing will last longer since the exhaust cools the further it travels.
I have a muffler delete on my 5.7 Ram 1500 right now and it drones way to much. How does the TR series compare to that?
Muffler delete is cool but its to raspy. The Carven-TR will definitely tam the sound and won't be to drone in cab.
I’m stuck between r vs tr for my Tacoma what’s the difference in sound ?
The Carven-R Muffler is almost double the sound compared to the Carven-TR. This is why we only use the Carven-TR Mufflers on all our V6 Cat-Back Exhaust Systems.
Will be buying a 3” TR for my 2020 Trailboss 6.2 to replace factory muffler but keeping the resonators at the end. Would I get any drone at highway speeds man?? I am so hesitant but wanna ditch the factory muffler. Also will be adding a Cold Air Inductions intake. Thanks
As king as you keep the resonators you will be fine and plus adding that cold air intake will definitely help with the flow.

Great question! This muffler is the muffler for you! not to loud but loud only when you want to hear it.
Which version is used in the 2018 Silverado 5.3 catbak if bought currently, the new version or older?

Won't sound the same due to you'll still be utilizing your oem piping. As for how many mufflers, that all comes down to you. You can go both ways.

There is, in about a week or two it will break in.

High tech glasspack
That's what most mufflers are these days like Magnaflow and Ultraflo and Borla. Even Flowmaster makes the FlowFX and Hushpower/DBX mufflers which are like higher quality glasspacks.
Old school glasspacks are still fine on old beaters and cars/trucks without cats that don't run as hot. I've used glasspacks at the end of the exhaust system as cheaper resonators and they work great.

I put the r-series on my 6.2l raptor. No resonator. I have significant drone on the highway, right around 1900 RPM. I love the sound, but could go a little quieter and eliminate the drone. What would you suggest?
So you have two options you can A- Place back your oem resonator or B- Buy our Carven-TR Muffler which will help with reducing sound. ether one of those options will help a ton.
