I think personally Hermit Purple + Hamon is better because it does more damage, heavily. And also you can have great combo starters and extenders, plus it has a barrage that covers more range with hamon. Most moves with HP Hamon does burn damage, so parring with that makes it insane

Actually no matter what spec and stand do ya use. Anything is good if you are the master of it. I got some examples: Soft and Wet can be used with Boxing, you can even have a 1 shot combo (Barrage (get thr opportunity to barrage) - Boxing Knuckle Sandwich - Boxing Liver Shot - Moisture Plunder - Prison Bubble - Go Beyond (move back or you might make ur opponent be free) - Haymaker, get close with Boxing Shuffle) Next, Aerosmith and Six Pistols can be used with Hamon. You dont even need Hamon moves if you're using Aerosmith, just get Hamon Punch and Lung Capacity. 6P is the same but get the moves this time And lastly, Hermit Purple is MADE to be combined with Hamon. YOU EVEN HAVE A PASSIVE that works when your Hamon is charged and you trapped your opponent. (I got 3 comments on this vid already lol)
Mr pres and boxing is also good, knuckle sandwich confirms kidnap,then enter the room and use jawbreaker on the opponent and quickly use haymaker and get out the room spam m1s and shake the key

C-Moon with Spin cuz it's one of the most craziest gimmick builds out there where you can just spam pilot and win without even having to move. You have two counters and you should use them if the opponent ever attempts to get close.
I think pluck is on par with hamon for ws. Cause you can true combo your unleashed steel + gun + spirit disk (or just unleashed steel + sdisk, but just to be sure to have enogh stun to barrage your opponent back, if he will decide to baragge you). Also your blitz sword attack makes you in good conditions to dash back after landing it and use your pilot, so your opponent won't be close enough to you. And also you can use your gun after pierce strike (its not true but gives some stun, so your chances to land your gun + sdisk is higher. Pls don't say I ain't reading allat 💀
bro.. you dont have to hold a sword for anubis plus there are so many combos you can do with it and maybe it doesnt have enough defense but you can litterly hold a umbrella while being vamp because you dont need the pluck sword
To me, this list can use some changes. For one, I feel like KQBTD should have pluck up there. General playstyle of KQBTD fits pluck, sort of as a hit and run. Pierce is massive, bomb plant is massive, pierce to bomb plant is true, insane getup pressure from both KQBTD and pluck, barrage to pierce is true, do what you want with that information.
Another stand I feel like should have pluck up there is RHCP. RHCP has the funny true m1s, paired with max upgrade pierce strike (ALWAYS GET MAX UPGRADED PIERCE) nets you a free 200-240 damage combo. A thing to remember about RHCP is that 3 m1s to lightning jabs is true, 4 m1s is not.
Stone free is another stand, Stone free has one of the better kick barrages in this game, along with pierce strike confirming every move except for string pilot and lasso. Combined with pluck and stone free's getup pressure, along with pierce to imagination, including BD, is a true combo, its a force to be reckoned with when used right. I main Stone free pluck, and its really, REALLY good.
@Ralseis plays YBAs KQBTD pluck is actually viable, as with pluck pierce to bomb plant is true, along with pierce having good range and 3 cd at max upgrade. KQBTD pluck provides way more neutral options, as with the other specs you dont really get a lot of combo or damage potential off of one interaction. But landing one pierce strike gives you a bomb combo. Sure KQBTD is really good with boxing or something else, but pluck provides KQBTD with better neutral, which is honestly more important than health and combos. KQBTD has the damage, but it has shitty neutral just like cmoon, which has insane combos. At least you have BTD to heal and escape combos, which helps with plucks survivability. Also subspecs exist, but not sure why you would use that but it exists.
S&W is definitely not vamp, it's a lot better with boxing or spin, i am a ex soft and wet main and with vamp it sucks, i prefer doing shenanigans with haymaker + go beyond
Hamon and spin arent as good, pluck/hamon/vamp have better combiniations with stands, which is why its not there. I would argue CMOON Spin being good, though.

Hermit purple has no barrage, if u get barraged by a high destructive power stand like KCR, it deals half your health, because even with hamon defense buff, your hamon bar might run out half way, this is the same if you are in a long true combo. For vamp, you have a second health bar and a move that recovers 70% of that life bar and some health, that won’t need you to keep pressing G to charge it, Hermit Purple’s vine traps (and vine trap 2) both confirm Life absorption (the move that regens your blood) making you very tanky. Hamon does NOT add extra damage to HP besides the normal +25% attack buff, it ONLY adds burning which can be put out by dashing, Vamp has higher damage due to it’s moves and it’s combo potential, not to mention my one shot combo with every stand (you can use the vine traps before the combo for more damage).

Most of the are blockable and hard to land, high cool-down and has to charge - these all contribute to it’s medium damage.
