Love the energy Lauren brings to the World Cup scene... and Eliot + Tracey are such amazing additions. Honestly, downhill coverage and media production is at an all time high and I am loving it!
I haven't got the opportunity to follow the news in the last few weeks. I thought Greg Minaar was World Champion? And no the World Cup goes on? How does that work?
Greg won the World Championship, which is a separate race outside of the world cup. It doesn't affect points or anything for the world cup. Lenzerheide is a world cup race, and doesn't have anything to do with the world championship.
In case that’s a serious question, according to Santa Cruz… “After 7 years of the World Cup grind Eliot finished up his World Cup racing career with a 10th place finish at the 2017 Mont Sainte Anne DH, and from there he transitioned to doing the more 'fun' events like Crankworx and TransCascadia, while also starting to hone his broadcasting skills as a race analyst.” - Also, founder of Grow Cycling Foundation.
I think it’s his style. He’s very much into track analysis and looking at riders lines. Watch his track walk videos. They are pretty in depth. Seems to have the respect of a lot of riders. He knows more than me anyway :) I watched the full finals video on Red Bull and Eliot and Rob Warner were great together.
@@mcspikesky I completely agree with you @mcspikesky. As an interviewer or as a commentator, Elliot has a tendency to do that clownish laugh in order to add some sort of content to his interview. Odd. At the world champs, he was as calm as a Librarian at a book reading session. At Lenzerheide, he sounded like if he was a golf commentator. Almost put me to sleep. Thankfully Rob has enough energy to carry the show. How about giving Ben Cathro a shot. And definitely not Wyn Masters. Wyn always talks more than the person he is interviewing.
Red bull's qualiday coverage is absolutely rubbish. Never gave a clue who's done what. They don't even show the times or who the top 10 fastest are. Useless.
@@miguelyamin be nice to know who missed out, who dnq due to crashes etc. Also be good to see who and why you have protected riders. Just seems completely lacking in understanding of what people actually want to know. You wouldn't know half the riders were even there.
Everyone in the comment section is welcome at my place for the stream, throwing a cookout bash and a Rake n Ride party after for the steeze🥳🤘 Dual crown, hard tails and everything in-between, we don't discriminate.
Elliot Jackson has no business being a commentator at such a high energy event. At the world champs, he was as calm as a Librarian at a book reading session. The world champs is a separate event. It’s not the overall World Cups winner
@@michaeljohnson-ti3de oh! I didn't know that. Thanks for that.👍

Just think of the World Champs as the Olympics
@@freddytolar so World Cup is held by the UCI and the World Championship not? Or something similar
How’s Brendog?
Lauren thick
Does Eliot have any MTB credentials?

@@asphotographics Ben Cathro, pinkbike, is my yardstick. I learn WAY more from him than these 'where do you get your inspiration from' type interviews

completely agreed. Red Bull please go back to basics. It is qualis, you have to show a table with the final standings.

Halo
Lauren constantly looks disinterested when the riders are talking. Not for me thanks.
To get paid wearing yoga pants.
Lauren thicker than a jar of peanut butter 🙌
