Seed Software interns describe their work with the Fire and Rescue Service

In the Department of Computer Science, we have a unique opportunity for our students: a number of guaranteed internship placements in our own software company, Seed.
Seed Software has a highly successful product line which provides communication facilities for the emergency services; more than half the fire services in the UK now use software developed by Seed.
All interns and students work with Seed Software's full time software developers, who provide comprehensive mentoring and advice.
Interns are assigned to substantive projects and have the opportunity to interact with clients. The best interns are also promoted to team leadership positions, managing projects as well as other interns.
This experience has proven invaluable for previous Seed interns, almost all of whom achieve a first class degree and get quickly snapped up for graduate developer roles.
