I think RUclips is a stepping stone and not a end all and be all. Most successful YT are able to get brand sponsorship or some sort of affiliate marketing. Some sell courses or products or services. It is still a great career I think 🤔

I have a channel for my sister who is paralyzed at birth with cerebral palsy. I live in the US and my sister is in Thailand. It’s so difficult now for a new channel like mine to get monetized. But we will keep going, at least it is fun for my sister. She has something to do and she ends up getting to laugh a lot. I paid for vidIQ but it doesn’t help that much with languages other than English. I just watched your video and it made me feel better about keep going.
