I actually did get to board from the apron a couple times before in Medford OR., and in Salt Lake City when they were using temporary bus gates. Such a great feeling and experience.

23:36 - 22:40 I can hear the ATIS leaking in - and the voice that sounds very similar (if not the same) to the old "Paul" voice heard on NOAA radio and during EAS alerts before its replacement in ~2000 or so.
Damn, too bad we didn't hear the ATIS "Caution: birds in vincinity of airport" line - which would have been kinda funny to hear given what had happened on arrival.

I think I can see my friend's apartment from the aircraft during the climb. 😂
Definitely agree about the difficulty of getting video during night flying.
19:33 - 19:35 I have a cousin who loves in an apartment right over the NY/CT border in Greenwich, adjacent to the flight path, so whenever I am there swimming with her family in the summer I get AMAZING views of incoming traffic (when arrivals are on 34 at least).
20:32 - 22:27 I am such a dork, I could name so many places down on the ground from there from living here all my life.😂

I don’t know where else to place this comment…… love the videos. That being said you NEED to do a video on the “drone” sightings in our area. I would consider you an aviation expert to an extent. If you can’t differentiate between what’s a manned aircraft and something that’s not, i don’t know who can! This video will get a lot of attention.

That would be nice and I hope for that in the future! My flight selection are based upon when I am available to fly and the price.

My wife and I flew down to Vero Beach last week from Providence on Breeze. Our aircraft had a white nose cone. It appeared to have been replaced recently but not yet painted to match the rest of the plane. This could have been the same aircraft in this video after it was patched up from the bird strike. Anyway, we love Breeze and especially the Vero Beach airport. I noted the other day when we arrived that the boarding stairs for the second gate position are stationed on the left side of arriving aircraft. Do they actually board passengers from the left side? If so this would be very rare. I have never seen them boarding the A220 from the second gate position.

The breeze plane with the white nose cone is N218BZ. I got to fly on that plane twice within one week and it will be featured in some upcoming videos. I don’t know about boarding from the second position, but I have definitely seen two planes parked on the ramp at the same time.

@@PeterMasella My question was answered with our return trip to PVD yesterday. There was another Breeze aircraft parked in position 1, but it was not an A220. It was one of their older jets that I believe is now being used in their charter operation, not scheduled service. Our Breeze A220 to PVD boarded in position 2 on the RIGHT side. Not only did we get to enjoy outdoor boarding but also an extended stroll across the ramp past the first jet, which some of the passengers tried to board by mistake. There was only one gate agent on duty trying to load a bunch of wheelchairs alone, so we left late in bad weather up the whole east coast. The takeoff roll in VRB featured strong gusty crosswinds. The aircraft was getting pushed around right before rotation and landing in PVD during very bad weather and gusty crosswinds under marginal operating conditions was real scary. I love to fly but was glad to be safely on the ground.
