i went boot shopping today to look at some of the new boots from this vid, but it wasn't great, there was literally nothing decent with my size, except the new predator elites with the short tongue. I had really high expectations for them, but as soon as i put them on, they just didn't feel comfortable at all. I felt like the tongue was pressing into the top bony part of my foot or something. I tried adjusting them a bit, but it just wasn't comfortable. Just a reminder that some boots will feel way different for different feet.

@@Zaxstar007nahhh mercurials aren’t worth it. Mizunos are. Mercurials aren’t as durable as the others… and my brother here is looking for “budget” options meaning he wants them for some time

I own the Copa Pure 2.1 FG.(not the + model) They are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I'm a left back so the protection on the calf leather is perfect. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND IF YOUR A DEFENDER!
how wide fitting are they?
@@kaichatterjee8118 I have quite wide feet and it fits perfectly fine. But it does wrap around your foot really well after 2-4 days of breaking time. So if you have narrow feet it would also work fine.

Gx for these predator elites FT, best decision I made. I play on both FG and AG, super comfortable and like man the touch is super buttery ngl. But yes awaiting for the ag release too, to grab one asap.
But the biggest difference from phantom gx is comfort . Be it on wet grounds or muddy surfaces it doesn’t let you down.
Can’t wait for future releases of the preds.
Would you say the grip is more aggressive and stable on the wet grass than the GX? Assuming they are both FG.
You prefer the gx? Deciding between the gx and pred elite. But can only get the nikes in custom for you in my size so cant try them on :(

Imo, the copa pure 2 run big. I’m a size 10 perennially and I find the toe box spacious and the lockdown a bit lackluster on my pair.

For those looking to buy the best of best boots like the most expensive top top boots, they are good boots but if your looking for boots that will last a long time i suggest you go down in price. Because having to buy two three or even 4 pairs of cleats in a year can be really expensive. Just know expensive doesn't always mean it will last longer

Finally someone put an end to Mizuno's Dominance in the recent years
I would argue if this was legitimately about comfort and performance with all brands, and by all brands I mean Diadora, Pantofola, Asics, Lotto, Skechers and so on, if they were given a fair shot, I'm sure certain brands wouldn't even be on this list.
I had tiempo legend 5(black and white) real kangaroo leather. Very comfortable shoes. I wore them for 3 years. Eventually the studs worn off to much so i got legend 10 elites. These start disassembling after 5 training sessions. My feet are wet after walking through the smallest puddles. The studs are also to close to eachother in my opinion. Bad for stability. Also have the feeling the cushioned real leather shoes are better when recieving hard passes. The synthetic stuff is slippery and hard
How are the takedowns on new balance and mizuno ?
asking about the crazyfast +, has anyone thats game tested them experienced discomfort on the outside of the foot specifically when turning sharply it feels as if something is digging into my foot causing a sharp intense pain, keep in mind i have previously worn every single boot on the adidas x line with no problems whatsoever. It could be that im still breaking them in im not sure, just wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar

It came out in 2022, so not eligible to go the list for best new boots in 2023. Still one of my favourite boots though and absolutely one of the best speed boots! /Jay

What about Mizuno Morelia Neo (non-beta)? If you are comparing multiple predator versions why not the same with the Neos?
I’ll be honest I haven’t tried the non-Beta as they’re not sold in the EU market and I haven’t gotten around to getting a pair from Asia yet. /Jay

The kings are my favorite of the three. Once you break in the K better it really is remarkably soft and the fit and lockdown is great. Imo, a slept on no nonsense boot that nails the fundamentals.

Both. Really depends on where the defender(s) position themselves to defend you. Remember you are in control NOT them. Also don’t think too much about it just do. 👍🏼

Phantom GX launched late 2022 and for me the Accuracy isn’t good enough to get in the list because of the rather loose fitting heel. /Jay
