Hi Purse Fans! In this weeks video, I am starting a series “Do We Care”… and this week’s topic will be the beloved )or belated Louis Vuitton Neverfull. I own the GM size currently, but have owned all sizes at one point and I feel that I have a good perspective , and can share my positives and negatives of owning this tote. Let’s discuss this bags current relevance (or lack of) and start a conversation regarding the price and is it warranted? Please let me know your opinion: do you own it? Want it? Like it? Hate it? The NF is a great practical everyday bag. The canvas is thicker and wears better than Goyard over the years. I don't follow trends so will still wear it even if it's considered "out" bc I wear what I like.

right? I'm apparently so "off trend" now still loving the Neverfulls. I just have the MM Mono right now but really would love to get my hands on the Mono GM. So casual chic (in my opinion). Sigh. Worried for the next price increase though.

I have the DE and Mono in the NF MM. I have used the DE three times and the Mono once. Actually, my first outing with my Mono is immortalized on RUclips.

I bought the DE mm first and two years later bought the monogram mm. I love them both. I use them when out with my children to carry their toys etc. they are great bags ☺️

All your reasons are exactly why I never owned one or thought about buying one it’s pretty to look at but their are totes that would serve the same purpose but a lot cheaper I own a few Marc Jacobs totes and they work for me and they are affordable great video 😊

I have the mm from the 2015 cruise edition, the one with the turquoise V. I only use it for travel as my carry on item. The prices are ridiculous now.

I still prefer my neverfull over my on the go for work and travel. They are super flexible. Pack a ton and super sturdy. On the go looses it shape when you pack it up so I’m def still a Nv girl

Personally I don’t think I’d buy the Neverfull, as a gift I’d love it but for a tote I’m very happy with my longchamp or Gucci. I have the lv speedy and I think people also think it’s basic now but I love it and think it’s a bit more classic than the Neverfull.

I purchased my MM DE with Rose Ballerine interior in 2018 too. Where I live, LV is not as common as in other areas, it seems. So I don't see this bag coming and going. I still like my neverfull although I don't use it daily or even monthly. But, to me it's still relevant. Who doesn't need some kind of tote in their collection? I'm happy I have one. That said, I would not pay this kind of money for the neverfull today. Interesting video.

@@thepursenurse There are a lot of good alternatives out there to compete with LV. Last year I wanted to add a light colored tote similar to the azur. So i purchased an MCM Liz tote. The style is very similar to the neverfull and it's very well made with nice hearty canvas. It also comes with a much more usuable pouch. I know not everyone considers MCM luxury but i think it's a nice brand.
@@bagit90 Agreed! I have considered that brand myself--maybe one day as I don't have any MCM boutiques near me--I will keep my eye out for one!
Great video. The prices are up but have the quality of the handbags improved or the same? I prefer quality leather handbags. I’m not a fan of the hard canvas which are coated with PVC….a plastic derivative. Too much money for plastic. Yes they are water resistant but they have gone overboard with the prices.

The Neverfull was my first luxury purchase (it was actually a undergrad graduation present I saved up for). Fast forward 2 years and i honestly regret buying it. I don’t carry much to justify wearing it as an everyday bag and I made the dumb decision of getting it hot stamped so selling it isn’t an option. I’ve thought about using it as my personal item bag but with all the craziness going on in the world, I usually end up backing out and going for my trusty dusty North Face backpack 🙃
Don’t beat yourself up about it! You loved what you loved and you bought it. I think that’s admirable. You own it! You made it happen.

I think it has its place but not necessarily an everyday carry. The DE with red interior is 😍😍.

I had the mono with Rose ballerine--loved the light pick color--but even with an organizer, I was paranoid to let any stain get on it--lol, so I got the red one instead--hopes that helps! Thank you for watching! :)
I bought a lot of Chanel on #HIDUPS, I don't care if it's imitation, in my opinion its quality is no different from the real one, and his price is so cheap why not choose the #HIDUPS one?
