Magenta Hair Color! Pink Hair Tutorial: DIY Home Color Dye!

Today I test out the new Magenta color from oVertone! Thank you oVertone for free product!
How to go the pinkest pink of them all, Magenta. How to dye your hair at home using oVertone. oVertone is not really a hair dye, it's a deep conditioning treatment with pigment in it. Your hair is colored with the pigment which doesn't open the hair shaft and further damage your hair, it's actually really good for your hair! We like it because it's non-damaging and also because it's temporary and allows us to switch our color more often with no damaging effects! We like this new magenta color, do you? oVertone conditioners are not dyes - they’re pigmented conditioners! Dyes contain chemicals formulated specifically to dry and open the hair cuticle and deposit color, and oVertone conditioners contain none of those chemicals. While you can add color to your hair with them, our conditioners are not formulated to be a one-time application like a dye. They are designed to gradually replace the pigments you lose every time you wash your hair, so your color is perfect every single day, whether you were in a salon four days ago, four months ago, or never!
oVertone conditioners are pigmented (that's how they deposit color!), but that is where the similarity with dye stops. oVertone pigmented conditioners contain no harmful chemicals - no peroxide, no ammonia, no heavy alcohols, and nothing that will dry out or damage your hair, even if you leave it on for hours every day. The pigment deposited by oVertone conditioners will keep your hair bright as long as you continue using them. While they aren't meant to be used in a single application, the color deposited by one use will last for approximately the same number of washes as a semi-permanent dye would.

I’ve thought about trying overtone. But I’ve never actually dyed my hair a funky color except for koolaid and temporary hair dye. I’m nervous since I seen that the blue never came out of your hair. I don’t want to be stuck with it for almost 2 years until it grew. I probably will try it since it’s not permanent it will wash out if I don’t like it.

I think that was the original blue dye that was put on, the oVertone was more of a teal and that came out. Go light at first and always do a test to make sure.

They have colors for brown, we tried it in Jonah’s hair, it’s a few videos back. It’s not a vibrant color, it’s more of a subtle tint that shows up in the sunlight.
