Josh Ludwig addresses Bipolar Disorder - This Is My Brave College Edition

"My Bipolar Story" by Josh Ludwig. Josh shares his story of overcoming Bipolar Disorder and his bouts of mania through his essay in our first ever College Edition show on October 10th at Lesley University in Boston.
This is My Brave “College Edition” launched in October 2019 featuring college-aged individuals from the Boston area who are sharing their stories to bring awareness to students about mental illness and the implications of stigma surrounding them through storytelling, while incorporating measures of mental health literacy in young adults. The program is generously funded through an Alkermes Inspiration Grant {www.alkermes.c...} and the Ruderman Family Foundation {rudermanfounda...}.
This Is My Brave, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (thisismybrave.org) is the leading platform for individuals to share their stories of living successful lives despite a diagnosis of a mental health disorder through artistic expression (spoken word poetry, original music and essay readings) on stage in front of a live audience. We're opening up the conversation about mental health disorders in communities all across the country and beyond via our RUclips channel.
We're shining a light on mental illness because it has been in the dark too long. We're ending mental illness stigma, one person and one brave story at a time.
