China Road Trip - Beijing to Fujian and Back part 4 Chinese New Year In Fuzhou

HI everybody, my name is Terry and I have been living in China since 2011. Over all this time I have fallen in love with the place. So many things have changed and so many things are still exactly how we all want them to be.
I live in Beijing, so if you ever come over give me a halla and then I can take you around the city.
We have travelled a lot in China and always try to find the hidden real places. Sure there are a lot of made beautiful places to attract the masses, but thats not our style.

This here is all about Chinese new Year in the capital city of Fujian, called Fuzhou. We had a loverly river view house and from there could really enjoy the lights of the modern city and the fireworks. Cause its the new year we also had to go for some hikes and checking out the place. What a place it is, with European architecture, a river that gets controlled in its tides, and a mountain with an army observation area. Did i say anything about an old dude walking up a steep hill in his leather shoes or an old city wall to protect from potential Japanese and Taiwan invaders?
After the CNY we make our way to Quanzhou, a complete different place again. Even with an old city wall to protect from Taiwan and Japanese invaders. Come and check this one out.
