As long as your HMD is cheaper than a XTAL3mr Palmer, I'll get a unit on release day.

There have been studies done on scientists and their age when making their biggest contributions. What they found is that most people's best work and best ideas happen in their 20s. There's a great Einstein quote that lends itself to their findings - "A person who has not made his great contribution to science before the age of 30 will never do so" He was right and the data proves it.

I was an early supporter as well. Had DK1 and DK2. Havent touched VR once since DK2 because i knew we were so far away from the bare minimum i needed to enjoy it. We still arent there a decade later.

quest 2 has been a ton of fun for me so far, but i mostly play arcade-style games that work really well with the lower end SoC hardware on it. you should try the newer standalone stuff! my favorite game is called eleven table tennis and it's actually made me a much better ping pong player

Given Anduril, people did (and myself a bit too, honestly) set themselves up for disappointment. Of course it was going to be an IVAS competitor. Oh well.
