It’s even more funny when Tomo’s dad SENSES a foul wind in the air, only to realise Misuzu was nearby. He goes “MISAKI?! 😰😰😰” and then advises Misuzu to never turn out like her maman.

They actually didn’t animate the best moment. When Misaki(The mom) 1st saw Carol she was just silently staring at her, then Carol greeted her and Misaki got shocked and said “ it spoke” to which Misuzu replied “Mysterious, isn’t it?”
Tomo does look a lot like her mother but I think the most noticeable similarity is the tooth that sticks out and the red hair obviously..
Misuzu's mom looks beautiful too, they all have beautiful moms in this anime!!

1:06 Everyone seems to have some fixation with Carol's cheeks for some reason. She's always getting her cheeks pulled and Ko wants to touch them for some reason.
I've watched this clip around 30 times, and each time it gets a smile.
What I've just noticed is how the background music really sets the mood across these scenes. Really stellar scoring!
