Not sure who this lady is. Been driving my K6 for a year now. No weird radio issues, no problem with the hand brake (Nissan also has the same system for some cars), you need to get use to the hand brake but that was standard back in the day with bakkies and I am not that old. You get used to it. The noise of the engine is there but not that much, and the wind noise is there but not so bad that it becomes annoying. I easily hit 150 on mine, uptake to 80 can be a bit slow but after that it is fine. More annoying is the alarm when you hit about 117 to show you that you are nearing 120 and it won't shut up and Mahindra won't turn it off but a loud enough radio blocks it out or it becomes like white noise after a while. I want to drive 120 not 110 when I want to. Why not ask someone to review this car that actually drives it daily. You need to drive it at least a week to properly test it not just a once-off quick start and go. I have travelled far in mine. Excellent fuel usage when not using the aircon, like any other car. Can be a bit loose on the road but you can check your tires for that and make sure it is inflated correctly, which helped mine when I just got it. Easy parking, no nonsense car. I have had no issues other than the clock resetting itself on my touch screen each time I restart the car, and the phone system isn't very clear but I hate them in any case. Handsfree is clearer and easier. If she read the booklet she would see that the touch screen is not standard for every car it depends on what you buy. Rather read the booklet and do a proper review after driving with the car more than an hour or so.
Do you know one thing that Indian car manufacturers does give features for the price we are paying compared to other International manufacturer for e.g if you pay the price for Volkswagen same as Mahindra XUV. then I would say Mahindra has more features.just have a detailed study. And for built quality Indian car maker's have good remarks. Note the point.
I have driven this car for more than 300kms. Trust me, if you are a beginner.. You can buy this car. It is very comfortable car and more of a Practical car with 6 seats and enough storage positions than the normal hatchback models. If you are the guy who give importance to family.. Go ahead and buy it. Its worth investing your money. The built quality is strong. You will love the riding posture gradually though you may not like the car in its first look. Mileage is good in Diesel and average in Petrol engine.
I have kuv100 nxt k4+ as my first car. great car. strong built. excellent speed and performance on highways. no issues at all after 2 years (more than 15K km). average 16+ on highways. fully comfortable for 5 people family. city driving also good. smooth. if you are a person who likes robust cars to drive, go for mahindra.

I remember back to the mid 1990’s when Hyundai and Daewoo (I have no idea how to spell it) arrived here... and let’s be honest ... Korean cars were ... well... $#|t back then... For about 10 years + Today Korean cars are on par, and at times surpass their German rivals (especially on spec) The Indian car industry is positively surprising me one car model at a time as they progress, irrespective if its this make or TATA. It’s true - we South Africans are pampered and many of the commentators here are from India actually, and they do not understand that for the same money one can buy a four year old BMW 3series with 100,000km... Either way... I have no doubt that while this model is “eish, only if I must” The next model will be ...“ hey.. I’m pleasantly surprised...” And the one after would be “why am I smiling driving a Mahindra?!? this car is awesome!” I want to encourage the Indian manufacturers - you’re on the right track to greatness so carry on as you are... I’m not sure why I have such affinity to India... a white Jewish South African and I write an entire thesis hahaha Maybe it’s their leader Mordi... he is great... much like their car industry. Either way... you will be seeing me in a Mahindra show room sooner rather than later. Enjoy the ride India.
