      Also the chime cylinder is huge which is also proof that it is Urgos.

      I have a UW32070D triple chime movement. Would love to find a service manual for it. I know little about clock movements. Is the URGOS line of movements any good? (btw, my movement has 3 different chime patterns and "silent" - the chime cylinder is actually a set of cams that determine the melody)

      @@en2ohone of the best clocks ever made. They have their cons, like all other manufacturers do, but they are one of the very best.

    I wish that was my clock!!! I love the triple chimes, and especially the Westminster chime, and the slow strike, like Big Ben!!

    The tangalang that strikes the hours on this clock is a little scary

    The Westminster, Whittington and St Michaels chimes on this clock sounds very nice and wonderful

    Just for future reference, don’t waste your time going from side to side of the clock when the hour strikes. I save a lot of time that way and you don’t get all the noises the camera makes when you move it around a lot.
    Anyways, this is indeed an Urgos movement. The chime cylinder is extremely large and that’s common in Urgos movements.

      I love the long pause between the chime and the strike too. Makes it very ominous-sounding.

    How come it's not wound?

    • @cobesclocks1949
      @cobesclocks1949  Год назад

      The time side chain wasn’t on and if it was wound up I wouldn’t be able to get the chains off to put the time chain back on its wound now and moved to a better position
