Not sure if anyone has noticed, but the first quarter melody for both Whittington and St. Michael’s are the major scale going down. It’s in the key of A, so that would be A-G#-F#-E-D-C#-B-A for that first pattern.
maybe you can hang the weights on the chains the next time your over there and the pendulum will swing and the striking train will work so you won't have to manually have to strike the hour
This clock was assembled by the original owner using the kit of precisely cut wood parts sold by the Emperor Clock Company, which is still in business.
I have this exact grandfather clock back when this was being sold you had the option of a darker finish (this video) or a lighter finish my clock they are both the same model just different finish options
From watching your video for the first time, all three weights different. Each weight is different. Each weight has a label at the bottom indicating where they go on the chain. You don't hang any weights in any particular order. L for left chain C for center chain and R for right chain.
Can u help me with my emperor ? It seems it misses when sticking at the 3/4 hour it was set and moved to the next 15 min increment before the previous chime was complete

Just wanted to let you know that I went to my aunt’s house in Colorado and I filmed the grandfather clock and the ceiling fans there. Those vids will come soon.
Your aunt probably has the 300M model which has the classic simple pendulum but still has the classic 1970s urgos movement the 300Ms were sold around 1970-1978 does it have the chime selector on the face?
ClocksAndAlarms92 Like this one, yes. But she lives in Colorado and I live in Texas and most of my other family members live in Utah. And Utah is where I came from. And I don’t know when we’re going back to the city my aunt lives in and I last been there in October 2016.
Clocks Fans & Vlogs Update: I went to my aunt’s house in Colorado and I filmed the grandfather clock there. It is a triple chime clock however I only showed it on Westminster.
Yes, it is in my friends house. This clock has many problems. One of them I found was the chain for the left weight was stuck between the sprocket and a shaft that holds the movement together.
No cabinet made by the emperor clock company this was a kit that was assembled during the 70s this kit was something that was completely disassembled and you could put everything together all though of course you wouldn’t put together the movement the movement was already put together what I meant was you put together the case and yes the movement was made by urgos.
I made a grandfather clock from an Emperor kit back in 92. With regular maintenance it keeps excellent time even after 30 years!
Triple chime? I would love to see a video of it
3:49
Westminster
5:14 Whittington
6:35 saint Micheal
3:51 Westminster 5:15 Whittington 6:37 st Micheals
That clock has an Urgos movement, I love those movements!!

I wish this had all it's weights on thats why it won't strike.
My aunt in Colorado has this clock. My grandfather built it around the 1980s.
I have the same clock

@@theray2009 I will when I get the chance.
I like your clock
It is still a very nice clock
I brought this clock kit in 1975. Need a new movement!
Do you got 5 grandfather clocks
Nice sound but your chimes sound off like there's a brief pause in each chime hit
Oh dear it has bad striking problems but the chimes are still good
What happened to the other two weights?
They were detached from the chains at some point. The only thing that needs to be fixed is that the weights have to be hooked onto the chains.
I hope the hour chimes are fixed
I have a grandfather clock but my has just the Westminster and the times on the hour my ticking still works but the chimes don't
Oh I like this clock
How much would that clock sell? I would love one
They go for around $200 $400 depends what size or what condition because a lot of people don’t want them anymore
What year does it say on the nameplate?
It’s hard to tell.
After slowing down the video and taking precise and clear screenshots it says
“Hancrafted by
Frank KOS
1981”
If the clock is not ticking attach the weights.
yeah
It’s not always that easy! There could be many reasons, a popular one is that it’s out of beat. Or there shit biult up on the gears and pivots.
The only difference between this clock and my aunt’s clock is the pendulum and the color of the case.

@@cobesgamingchannel9587 Probably, but not 100% sure because the lever was not shown inside of the clock.
Didn’t know the weights are off. They need to be put back on so the clock will work well.
This technically is not my clock, but you’re right. Clocks should be running and not be standing in a corner untouched.
@The Channel Of Random Minecraft Stuff and More doesn't your aunt have a clock like it?

I got one very similar I believe the movement is a Hermes German movement from the Black Forest,
The movement is a urgos movement from Germany you are right

Yes, it is in my friends house. This clock has many problems. One of them I found was the chain for the left weight was stuck between the sprocket and a shaft that holds the movement together.
Well this clock needs to be wound.
If the movement can be taken out and fixed, yes.

@@pjames8673 that can be fixed with a screw driver I fixed that with the middle weight and didn’t have to do shit lol
