As we age we see less of our family and friends and they become less relevant as we focus/expend more of our time/resources to our wives/children. It is more about priorities than seasons, you meet/talk when necessary or when you can with your friends.

There's Difference between friend and affiliate. Friend is more personal. Affiliate is youre kl with each other but not that deep.
