My dad bought the family home in 1981 for 45k his salary was 15k. In 2015 when my dad retired he finished on a basic salary of 31k (same job), the same house was worth 400k. This has all been engineered. This country has only ever taken money seriously so what did they do, engineer it so housing market was artificially kept high through demand, wages was kept low through saturation of the job labour market and profit was kept high. We essentially were Americanised. The runaway Capitalist society we live in is very American. Instant profit. Instant result. Not a European model! The problem is, we are not the size of country that can sustain that in a stable manner. Do you think people rioted because of immigration in August or the fact that they have nothing, are struggling and wanted someone to blame? The media and government glossed over this. I was shocked that the whole of the working class didn’t rise up, they squashed it by saying it was racial etc you just had to listen to people and actually the undertone was “I am struggling”. Here in Bexley, Im in private renting, household income of 3.5k a month, rent is 2.2k! Small 3 bed home! We just about get by. We have 1.3k left and a family of 5 and we just bout get by on the remaining 1.3k! Everything has shot up in the last 5 years, but its been heading this was for the last 25 years! In another five years we will be massively struggling if this continues! On top of this they are purposely crashing the NHS to covert privatise it. Public services have gone to pot! Crime is off scale here in London relative to previous years. Food cost has skyrocketed. Few people I know can afford to go out and socialise. They are building everywhere and cramming more people together. We are 2.5 smaller than France with the same population size. We have one of the highest population densities in the developed world. It means nothing even when they are building these flats by the thousands! Have you been in them? They are making three bed flats by essentially halving the standard size of rooms! You’re in a human filing cabinet! And paying at least 300k for the “privilege”. The rich are getting richer. We are getting poorer! Immigration just keeps the GDP up on paper so they are able to give out PR reports that show “progress”. I have no idea what the end game is but this country is on the path to huge national unrest borderline revolution. Its inevitable. The only reason we haven’t had it yet is they managed to divide us and engineer it that we are so divided that a unified response against the political/corporate establishment was a low risk. Thats why media run reports of sexism, racism, this phobia, that phobia, this hate and that hate non-stop, its all state controlled to keep people divided. The worst thing they could have is a unified population. It will not stop a national uprising though as more people wake up to the agenda. Whats sad is that this is completely avoidable had we not been controlled by rich greedy people! Probably the same for every country!

Lack of unity and spending money within our businesses, how many times do we eat Italian food or Chinese food but Caribbean people aren’t going to west African or East African restaurants and businesses and versa we focus too much on our differences. French people know a lot about Italian and British culture and vice versa they invest together spend in each others businesses etc. there is a systemic racism going on which has brought about self hate, through poor education, lack of role models, lack of older generation giving advise trying to give back, lack of accountability, lack of trust. Entertainment industry, black history focusing on negative things not the inventors pioneers CEO’s etc. the system is fine tuned to have the results we have today and unless we have more discussions and embrace each other more as a race, we ain’t getting anywhere.
