Does anything have a perfect x shaped crisscross pattern? Cause I found a bit with these perfect x shaped perforations in the surface of this opal . It has small horizontal plates on it too.
Hello how can i get help or who can i go to for help on identifying teeth and heads I believe to have been finding. In the state of Kansas. You seem to be very educated.
Username checks out. 😁 Thanks for watching! (PS, this is a RUclips channel, not the Discovery Channel. I have a crew of one. The camera operator has all of the jobs.)
Hi Phillip! I’m not familiar with any lizard skin fossils from the Lightning Ridge area, but I will refer your question to the experts! If you’re looking for opalised fossils that are preserved in darker and more gem quality opal, check out this video: ruclips.net/video/FWWyFEygvFQ/видео.html thanks for watching! 😁👍
Of course - @iducuriosity on Twitter or Instagram is probably easiest. HOWEVER, I’m just the filmmaker and not the fossil expert, so I can’t give advice myself. Happy to pass it along if it’s something our guys might be able to identify.

What do you call the whole animal when it’s been mineralized
A complete specimen! Or, if you’re really lucky, a new species. 😁
