Awesome interview Floris! Great to see Consume + Sleep Ti/Se versus Consume + Play. That cat was hilarious too 🐈 So many good nuggets in here - very educational 😍
This guy is Ne-Ti....he's using his second slot Ti as a tool, so he has lesser regard for the truth or logical consistency (he admitted to making up 'boollsh*i't to meet his goals) than Binyamin does as a Ti dom. His Fe is also higher than 4th position, thus the reason why he bounces his ideas off the tribe more, and cares for feedback. Side notre: Ne users tend to find it hardest to self-type.
whenever Binyamin says something along the lines of "I'm not sure that's Fi" he's wrong, it is. Can confirm as an Fi with Ti friends (one of whom is in the process of discovering her Fi).
I think clarification needs to be done versus standard MBTI. For example, N is flaky (symbols, future, abstractions, possibilities, impressions) in standard MBTI, but it's overview and analogies in OP. Also, distinctions need to be made why one coin isn't any of the other coins. For example, why is Oe not Play and why is Ni not Ti? You could do that with all the coins, not just its opposite. In other words, Ti vs Te, Fi, Fe, Ni, Ne.... C, S... etc. The coins often seem too similar too me. BTW, I'm officially typed as ISTP, so I've watched all the ISTP videos, and they seem nothing like me. They are into evidence first, but I have to be forced to gather facts, after my theories. So I'm not convinced the OP system is right.
@@ladybluebell1598 Yes, but I'm not convinced about the coins. Dave and Shan keep updating them and changing them vs traditional MBTI. It's work in progress that doesn't refer back to the old MBTI. So it's hard to know what they are really defining.
@@worldwidehappiness just start simple. Make sure you understand the letters (as obvious as they may seem), the functions, and finally the animals and sexual modalities. I don't think dan and shan keep changing them, they're trying to make the definitions more precise, as well as uncovering more aspects of the coins.
Completely identify with your need to clean up the coins and with how you feel "not convinced". Good luck finding something that you are convinced about though :D
The "right for me", is totally not Ti that is Fi. Ti is all about self-checking, reassessing/refreshing the code - looking for inconsistencies. Floris, seems to be attaching a moral component to the "self", as if doing something for ones self is bad - as in "purely selfish". I think he doesn't understand that self in this aspect is more of a reference point - subjective but only in the sense of it agree with the internal logic, or info that is already assimilated as an acceptable framework. Yes, Ti writes it own code, but that code does not just work for its own sake, but because it has a basis in Se - the real world. This is why Se/Ti are good with tools, we are good at inutiting the use of tools in the external world and are comfy building a mental framework of TACTILE use of the tools where we can use them without thinking because the analysis of the physical has been inculcated into the very SOLID framework of "how it works". We trust our assimilation and stimulation/consumption of learning how the thing works and don't second guess it, because we've taken the time to full grasp how it works. We don't merely bang things together, but try to understand a thing and then apply it, and when we do, it is on an expert level. Many martial artists are ISTPs.
I like the ‘lights off, walking slowly through the dark,’ analogy regarding functions we aren’t aware of. Good one!
The "my pleasure" at the end made me laugh out loud. 😂 Great interview, guys!

Particularly interesting one. Thx guys 😊

Do I hear a dutch accent?
Jazeker!
Interesting
Two ISTPs talking about Ti for an hour straight lol. Not that I'm complaining, I like the deep dive, but IxxPs man lol
We take our Ti very seriously, shit takes time man 🤣
@@MrFleppie I know right lol

You should definitely make sure you understand the coins before watching the interviews otherwise it won't make sens.

@@worldwidehappiness I almost forgot the most important: the human needs and the savior/demon states.

I want to get OPS typed and learn from a interview. I am also an ISTP.

"infj... like everyone else"
everyone else except infjs who keep getting infp/intp/enfp/intj 😢
