Just got mine from the Nike outlet and for the price of $85. I think they are a steal. Can't wait to wear them at the Laker game with my vintage 20 year old Kobe 33 Lower Merion jersey.

Ok I know I’m late on this video but I wanted to share my thoughts:
I just got mine a few minutes ago and at first wasn’t really feeling them cus on eBay the color looked more red / maroon like on the varsity red high 85’s I have but when I saw the lite purple I was like what the -- but know what? I’m loving these all of a sudden. I got a good pair as in construction. Smooth leather , toe box is not too stiff and not too soft. I dig em and I’m 53 years old . People, do you not who you think people expect you to be . It’s your life and most importantly- your feet!
Hell yeah! Can’t wait for these!

Just bought the UNC toes from a random online boutique and was worried for the same reasons. Ironically the best Jordan 1 i have now in QC. On the black toe low ogs i went through 6!!! pairs from Nike before keeping 2. The rest were messed the eff up

The toebox and leather reminds me of the wmns "Starfish" 1's. Very soft leather.

I had terrible luck with the air Jordan 2 black cements ordering online. First pair was terribly defective, full on creased in dents on the side of the toe box by the stitching. My current pair had a similar defect but it was minimal and I really didn’t want to deal with a second return through Nike, so I kept them. Also the leather on the toe boxes were different. The left one was as advertised. The right one has a tumbled look and the leather feels softer and more premium than the left shoe. Weird or what? Lol. Can’t say I’m surprised.
Returned mine for the same creasing on side stitching. Wasn’t even worth ordering another pair for me so just returned and moved on lol
@@JBillionzz I feel you man! The only reason why I tried again was because I always wanted a pair of 2’s but never could like any of them until the black cements showed up! They activate with sail laces.
I hear you on that. I was definitely stoked on the colorway and would’ve rocked red or sail laces for sure
Same issue..returned 2 pairs and finally gave up..
I had the same experience with the black cement 2s...they were creased so bad...I was pissed...I returned them...when I got the 2nd pair they were still creased but not as much as the 1st pair

I won 3 pairs, Foot Locker, SNKRS, & Renarts. Returned 2 that were stiff, ran big, faux pleather & then my 3rd pair (Renarts) soft leather, better toe box leather, fit true to other 1s. Big difference, QC is terrible. I love mine, gutted & lt smoke grey laces

These are super clean. I like them a lot but they are too close to my court purples imo to justify purchasing these for my collection.

I alway pick the white laces, when the minority color of the shoe is white, it looks cleaner and make the other color of shoe recognizeable...

Chris... when you speed up the footage check your frames per second (fps) so it doesn't get jumpy. Other than that, these are clean. It reminds me of the Bordeaux 1 and brotherhood 1.

The editing style is called jump cut. It’s how we like our content.
Maybe you could speed up the whole video to around 3-5x the original speed, take out the background music and replace it with the Benny Hill theme song. That will always be in style…. maybe… You’re welcome.

These are solid. But im going to pass since I have the bordeaux pair. The suede Royals are a must for me.
If I didn't have the Bordeauxs, I would definitely go for the Mauves but they seem way too close to the Bordeaux.
Have the Bordeauxs and going for these anyway but I hear you, VERY similar… maybe I’ll just grab a second pair of Bordeauxs 🤔

Great review. You make it easy to like with your in depth commentary. Even though the leather looks buttery these might go the way of the Jordan Bordeaux or Jordan Fusion Red. Great feel but just can't match with many outfits if you don't live in KC Chiefs country. But the Suede Royal looks 🔥! Straight up hungry for those. Need to order two pairs with a Royale with cheese 🍔!

I used to hate the forefoot cushioning in the aj1 or lack thereof but as ive gotten older and own several pairs of mids and highs, i really like the on the foot feel of the aj1. Jordan knew exactly what he wanted when he talked with nike. He wanted to feel the court. Aj1s are not bad at all. I can wear a broke in pair all day and my feet dont hurt or fatigue out. Ive had my feet fatigue out and hurt wearing zoom strobel units long before my feet hurt in aj1s
Bro you flat footed is all MJ didn’t even like Jordan brand until the 3s come out flat shoes just feel better for you cuz your foot shape they are decent with me but definitely would be horrible to play ball in
If you hoop in AJ1, make sure you double-sock to ensure lockdown. Once that leather heats up, it stretches, and your foot starts sliding downward.
