Nope! You will receive on the job training. There are speciality certifications you can pursue once you've been in the unit long enough.

What is the education step by step to become a NICU Nurse?

Become a nurse you can do ASN or BSN. Usually you take prerequisites before applying to the program and a entrance exam at the end of the program your eligible to sit for the NCLEX to get licensed. Once licensed you just look at local hospitals to see if they have registered nurse NICU positions open. In some states they have residency programs for new grad nurses and you can choose which specialty you would prefer.
