- High powered businessman Howard Langston (Arnold Schwarzenegger), is hard at work taking last-minute orders from customers to whom he just can't say no, including his son, Jamie (Jake Lloyd), who asked for the hottest action figure of the season -- Turbo Man! Unfortunately, Howard is facing one BIG problem. It's Christmas Eve and Turbo Man has been sold out since Thanksgiving! Howard's down-to-the-wire trek to find Turbo Man quickly turns into an odyssey wilder than he could have ever imagined. In the course of his seemingly endless Yuletide misadventures, he finds himself in a no-holds-barred fight-to-the-finish with a crazed postman named Myron (Sinbad), who is out to claim the last Turbo Man for his kid. It's enough to scare away even the bravest of men. But to Howard, this is war -- and he's determined to win...no matter what!
I love it when he ties the belt around his head & makes the goofy Karate yells. It's such a dad/uncle thing to do: do something wrong on purpose in a silly way to make their kid laugh or make them feel empowered letting the kid show them how to do it properly.

The little girl in Pack Up Your Troubles with Laurel and Hardy was more convincing. The three kids from Beethoven and Beethoven's 2nd were more convincing.

Jake Lloyd doesn't need a script of acting. Kids are better actors to be themselves, and some kids do need a script if they are having trouble reading.

I wish the Turbo Man action figure that was released at Walmart from Tiger Electronics in 1996 and re-released from Funko in 2021 had been made to look just like the prop that was made for the commercial (1:18) and I also wish other action figures of Booster, Dementor and the Demon Team (in 6 colors: aqua, blue, green, grey, red, yellow) had been released too.
